Tampa needs to score in the 30s and 40s every single game so all of their receivers can be happy.
@Kern Albert What I know is that Tom Brady distributes the ball so evenly that nobody gets seriously good numbers but all of his receivers stay happy. And if the stars aren’t happy you end up with less chemistry and I actually know that Tom will keep everybody happy. He got Gronk his Super Bowl TD record which Gronk said that he wanted and he got AB his money for his incentives and got Evans his 1000 yards. He is one of the most thoughtful QB’s there is and that is partly why people want to play with him.
@Kern Albert That would be a record. Peyton has the record and it is 55 during a single season. Brady and Mahomes are tied for second at 50. I do think he has a good chance of breaking that record this year, particularly with the extra game.
@Kern Albert Tom Brady isn’t on the short list of QB’s who threw 7 TD’s in a game. Modern-era QB’s who have done that are Manning, Brees, and Foles. This would be a good year for that, too.

@Kern Albert But if Tom wants to beat Peyton, he needs 55 and he needs to get that before the `17th game to have it count. Mahomes and Brady have both thrown 50 already so if he has a goal it should be more than that.
It is mindboggling that the NFL can’t do something as simple as wear throwback jerseys this year. SMH.

When you start think about records, rings, being undefeated you lose focus and get a big head. Humble yourselves and focus on winning the next game, one play at a time.
It can work either way. Tom has always had a laser focus on getting to Super Bowls and even though he takes it one game at a time during the season, he was announcing it to the receivers before their first practice. Players who have a goal of excellence often rise to it.
The players who want records and rings often have figured out exactly what it will take to get there and they put the extra effort in to get it. Evans put in the extra effort to get his 1000 yards last year and if he hadn’t known exactly what he needed to get 1000 yards he wouldn’t have done it.

Has anyone talked about the single season record of TD from scrimmage? Wilder, James FB #32 has 13 rush TD and 0 rec TD back in 1984. Mike Evans had 0 rush TD and 13 rec TD. That leaves them both atop the TD’s for rushing (Wilder) and receiving (Evans).
If Evans breaks his single season rec TD record this your with 14+ then he also passes Mike ‘Touchdown Vulture’ Alstott for most TD from scrimmage franchise history. Warrick will be very happy.
