Herbert all the way

Goofy Kid2x

Most deftly Justin 👏🏽

Mr Potential

Tua because hes been getting nothing but hate since he entered. Justin already proved he can ball. Now its Tuas turn

    BaltCall 2K

You just explained why he’s getting “hate” In your own sentence🤣

    Cam

@BaltCall 2K That was his point he’s not trying to defend Tua.

    BaltCall 2K

    @Cam I think he is

    diegodayzz __

bruh that is precisely why herbert has higher expectations. He already balled out so people believe he will continue to explode, while tua hasn’t breakout but he does have indeed more pressure to play better.

Emory Robertson

I would say Tua has more pressure on him but Justin has more expectation now with a new head coach

    Facts

    True

I like your way of thinking

    goose with shoes

Between the strength of the team around him and the feeling that this is a make or break year for tua, he’s definitely under more pressure than Herbert this year.

    tmcon

I love this, especially as a charger fan!

    Cam

    I agree

Kraken Fanatic Indian

Definitely Herbert bcoz he is already considered a top 10-12 player right now and even potential future MVP whereas with Tua already half of the league’s fan has given him the tag of Bust so even is he doesn’t pan out no one would be surprised

    DeeWayne Wade

@mritizwatitiz Put Herbert on Miami The Dolphins is the AFC championship at least lol So what you said made zero sense erase that

    preston _22

@mritizwatitiz tua beat the cardinals, patriots, bengals, and raiders, none of those are playoff teams. he got pulled against the 5-11 broncos and the 8-8 raiders for a 37 year old backup when he had the better overall team. and even in most of the wins he wasn’t the main reason for their success, like the games against the rams and the chargers where he was carried by the defense and special teams.

    mritizwatitiz

@preston _22 tua also beat the rams, the cardinals were 5-2 when tua beat them the only reason the cardinals didnt make the playoffs is because of kyler murray injury and he wasnt injured when they played us.

and it’s funny u say tua beat the patriots who arent a playoff team but tua beat them without devante parker and mike gesecki… also, last year all tua had was parker and gesecki.

also, when tom brady came back 28-3 on the falcons did u say ” it was defense and special teams”? when the patriots held the rams to 3 points in the superbowl did u say it was defense? when the patriots held the greatest show on turf to 14 points and had a pick 6 on kurt warner did u say it was defense? when the patriots defense sacked mcnabb 4 times and picked him off twice did u say it was defense? when malcolm butler picked russel wilson off at the 1 yard line did u say it was defense? when the buccaneers defense held mahomes to 0 tds and had pressure on him all night did u say it was because of defense?

if you’re not going to knock tom brady because of his defense and special team dont do it to tua. the fact is that tua had higher quality win with less quality players

    preston _22

@mritizwatitiz i don’t give tom brady all the credit for new england’s success. I’m a dolphins fan and this is what I see. tua threw for 98 yds against the rams the defense forced 4 turnovers, ran a fumble back for a touchdown, and special teams had a punt return for a touchdown. Tua wasn’t the main reason they won. Herbert had to deal with the worst ranked o-line in the league and broke almost every single rookie passing record. Yeah he had better weapons but he had a worse online, a defense who constantly gave up double digit leads, and a coach who had bad clock management and ultimately got fired. I’m willing to bet that brian flores isn’t losing his job anytime soon, the dolphins defense isn’t going to surrender multiple double digit leads next season, and justin herbert will outplay tua in every way possible.

    mritizwatitiz

@preston _22 they said the same exact thing about lamar vs baker after their rookie season. they say tom brady isnt going to put up 300 yards every game like drew brees, he’s going to sit back and say, today is a running day and defese day. so why isnt it the same with tua?

tua is just a winner and u will see

Napalm Blaziken

Tua and Justin will be compared their entire careers.

    Master Chief

That’s how all heavy QB classes go especially when 3 QBs go in the top 6

    hunyacka42

and that is unfair to tua

    diegodayzz __

    you mean burrow and herbert

    Master Chief

@hunyacka42 how? They compared Big Ben, Eli, and Rivers. They compared Elway, Kelly, and Marino. If you’re a top 5 pick in the draft at QB along with two other QBs that’s who you’ll forever be compared to. Doesn’t matter if you feel it’s unfair, that’s how it’s been since the beginning of time so get over it and out play your peers.

    Master Chief

@diegodayzz __ let’s be honest last year even with Burrow getting hurt during week 11 I believe, he showed he is THAT guy for the Bengals. Along with Herbert showing he’s THAT guy for the Chargers. Tua has to play well this year so that Miami doesn’t have any doubt and will want to continue to develop him instead of possibly moving on. Because we know teams now move on fast from QBs unfortunately. All last year dolphins said he didn’t have a great o line and no good weapons so now there should be no excuses for him bc they went out and addressed the weapons issue and got some O lineman pieces.

MinePlay 512

I believe both will be stars in the NFL.

Janos

Everyone looks good in practice. Tell me how he looks in a real game.

Sports 311

I fully believe that Herbert has a lot of upside going into next season with a new head coach

DrinkMoreCareLess

Herbert is actually good. Tua has more to prove.

tmcon

As a chargers fan it’s mutual, Herbert showed that he can ball last year. Tua has more of something to prove, if he doesn’t do what’s needed for the dolphins…He’s a bust. And it’s final at that point.

    First Last

    Lol 2 years in, he’s a bust

    tmcon

    @First Last draft bust.

Devin Brown

I think I speak for everyone when I ask “Am I missing something?”

Chase Taylor

The fact that this is a debate is sad Justin Herbert 💯

Michael Scott

Obviously Hollywood Herbert! We don’t even know if tua is good.

Official JaguarGator9

Herbert has nothing to prove. If he has a bad year, we’re just going to chalk it up as a bad year and a sophomore slump.
If Tua has a bad year, the Dolphins are drafting his replacement in 2022

60 Second NFL History

Patrick Mahomes threw 7 picks in 6 practices in 2018. He won the MVP and led the Chiefs to the AFCCG.
Blake Bortles threw 5 picks in one practice in 2017. He led the Jaguars to the AFCCG
After that story on Tua broke about him throwing 5 picks in practice earlier this week, I’m gonna pencil the Dolphins into the AFCCG

JG9 Highlights

Herbert had one of the greatest seasons by a rookie quarterback in NFL history. Tua is fighting for his job and couldn’t be trusted to lead his team last year, to the point where a career journeyman replaced him multiple times.

This one’s easy

hunyacka42

people focus to much on Justin Herbert because he has a “bad team” tua only had mike gesiki and parker.

Scott Jackson

I’ve heard people say he could win the MVP and tua might be out of the league!
