@Arley Villeda Because Barnett is a first round pick and has more money invested into him than Sweat who is a 4th… this is basic football knowledge, they arent gonna put money into someone and not give them more of a chance than someone they put less money into, Its all about money and the potential to break out next season… which barnett has yet to do

@Arley Villeda last season i said… barnett starts and has been in the league longer he’s obviously gonna have more of every stat overall..

Last season Sweat had more sacks, more tackles, more tackles for a loss, more forced fumbles, more pressures on pass plays, more pressures on the qb in the pocket and he played less snaps than Barnett and hes younger.

The only stat Barnett had more in was qb hits and thats one category vs 6 that Sweat is beating him in.

I can tell you dont watch football, either that or you just don’t understand when a player is better than the other 😭

@Slasher his production as a first round DE since 2017 has been good. You can’t expect for every single player howie drafts to be the guy on the team. Give the guys credit when you see them play with consistency. I really can’t believe there’s dumb fans who would want sweat as the starter with little stats he’s had for this season. Had Barnett wasn’t injured this year, he would’ve had better stats. Imo sweat is a solid swing de. Barnett has one year of experience over sweat. Lol
