    He has been a great play caller for a the past 15 years, soon as he gets the giants the offense dont look good and no one ever thinks it mighta had something to do with our pop warner weapons and fisher price o line. Dont forget how different Dallas looked once’s they got coop

    @StikyfingatipZ12 His play calling last year didnt play to Jones’ strength. Jones is a vertical passer, not a horizontal one (he isn’t bad at it but horizontal passing for a lot of qbs is harder early on in their career due to it being way more timing based). Also, JG tried to use Engram like Witton but engram doesn’t have the hands/body type to be that guy. DB’s would just sit back on that route and pick it/get it off engrams hands. If they use more of a Pat Shurmur scheme, (vertical concepts) I don’t see why Jones can’t take a Allen type jump or better.

Interesting statement about the issues he was looking at even when he started last season: turnovers. He was obviously doing lots of study before. He said he doesn’t take football home but that seems almost impossible with all the facets of the game he’s been working on.

And, for a vapid comment, he looks years younger now. 😝
