Who will regret trading for a 32 year old guy who is nearing the end of his prime due to injuries and can barley stay healthy. Don’t get me wrong Julio is a top 3 receiver when healthy but that contract ain’t lookin to good for cap space reasons
No team will actually regret trading for Julio yes he’s a star WR but 1 move doesn’t take u to a championship. Especially if a WR is not a priority

@YEAH AIGHT Evidently, a top 3 receiver and a couple “decent” pass catchers weren’t enough. Plus, at this point in Julio’s career, contract money isn’t exactly going to be overwhelming for the packers to take on.
@NeptuneGuy78 U not getting it. Julio contract he signed with ATL a few years ago is 15.3 mill+ for the next 2-3 years left on it. If greenbay wanted to pay that price for a WR they would’ve done it by now. Look at what Chris Godwin, Kenny G, C. Samuel, N. Agholor, C. Davis got in free agency similar contracts to Julio not 1 of those dudes make less then 12 mill this year. Now if greenbay wanted to pay that price they would’ve signed 1 of those WRs before the draft they’re much younger and offer more upside down the road than Jones. They can’t afford to purchase another top flight WR his cap hit is over 15mill !
Another thing Adams is in his prime; is he not a top 3 WR rn? MVS is the best deep threat in the game statically dude gets like 20 ypc! And not to mention that TE Tonyan is starting to come along they drafted ol boy outta Clemson Amari Rodgers and they got a solid duo in the backfield with a top 3 offensive line and the defense finished 7 or 9 overall last year I think 9. Packers literally have no money 🤣🤣 u still gotta pay dudes after this year like that CB Alexander and those pass rushers. Rodgers is looking for a new contract without admitting it because he wants greenbay to pay for making a mistake for drafting his replacement that Early. Nobody was complaining about his pass catchers during his MVP campaign. He thru like 48 TDs and had the number 1 offense and the least amount of turnovers. They won’t regret paying for Julio trust me anyone who says otherwise is just dumb. Rodgers is just a big cry baby they think he wants weapons dude is good enough to play with anything.
@YEAH AIGHT Granted I’m not a Packer’s fan, but they really should have picked a Wide receiver in the first instead of drafting Jordan Love in the 2020 draft.

@Matthew Oh Absolutely. Packers have no cap space. The 49ers can also be included there as well. With contract extensions on the horizon for Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, there is no wiggle room for 9ers either. Even though 9ers did ask about Aaron Rodgers, they could not afford Rodgers’ contract let alone Julio Jones’s.

The cap can be manipulated that’s why the packers are on the list. The Chiefs had no cap room and still found a way to bolster their team

No team will regret anything he’s like 32 years old and has at max 2 good years left inside him. Titans ain’t getting passed the divisional round and depending on who they go against in the wild card round, the might not even make it passed that. The AFC is stacked and their are plenty of teams better than them. The Browns, Cheifs, Ravens, the Colts if Carson can play decent which he most likely will, and the Steelers of Big Ben can have a good season. They will face one of these teams in the wild card round and they will lose if they face these teams.
Thinking the Falcons HC having previous Titan’s ties almost made this trade a given from the jump… Falcons were probably fishing in the beginning to see if any takers would give a 1st rd pick.
People don’t realize that he had a huge contract and guaranteed money 💰- 3 years 66 million with 25 million singing bounce ( I’m sure that the Titian’s will have to pay a good chunk of that ) 64 million guaranteed signed in 2019 – usually a lot of this money is pushed to the last year of the contact. This is one of many reasons teams could not trade for him. – Cap Issues !
Packers wont regret it, he’s too much money and they have to pay tons of contracts soon, as well as restructure
If the 49ers got Julio, they would have a tough time having money for Warner and Bosa. Especially since they gave up a bunch of picks for Lance. The 49ers would stay below the cap limit AND have draft capital to replace aging veterans
