Flores is the type of coach that believes in building his defense from back to front and with all the pass happy teams in the league these days that’s always a need in his defensive scheme.
Again…. Tua responded the way he did because the media (you beat writers to be exact) was making the question seem as if it were Chan Gaileys fault.. and Tua being super humble brought the mistakes of the offense on himself

Which is to be expected and we should already know after watching him last yearā¦ given he came in halfway through the season when they canāt really change the offense to suit himā¦ the mediaās reaction to it is so far off from reality itās laughable lol. No one asks about Austin Jackson (18 overall pick) and Noah O (30th overall)?? Both seem like Busts!!…I am more worried about those 2 than Tua.
20 year old corner when drafted with 2 prior of experience at the hardest position to play on defense. He was always gonna be a project and got thrown into the fire when byron got hurt and had to cover diggs, a top 5 wr, in man coverage. As for jackson similar story. Most olineman dont develop until year 3, sometimes even 4. He was also incredibly young and saved his sisters life before getting drafted. Most people thought he was raw af but had all the movement skills. Hell get better. Did both suck last year? Absolutely. Should both get better? Absolutely.
Noah Igbogihine or however you spell it only got like 1 chance and that was against Stefon diggs. And Austin Jackson was injured last year
@MegaStoneTV Jackson didn’t suck. He played average to below avg. Noah just got beat like a dum vs elite-High end WRs
Tua now has such an absolute, overwhelming, iron-clad command of the playbook that it feels like he only knew a fraction previously.

Coach Flores is the man, “I understand the question” then doesn’t answer the question about Tua’s understanding the playbook. I mean what did you think he was going to say, yeah I knew he didn’t understand what we were trying to do on offense but played him anyway…lmao. I think, he felt like Tua knew it well enough to get some wins which he did, and he just wanted to see if Tua was going to be able to make plays and see what he did well and what he didn’t feel comfortable with, without those games Tua started he wouldn’t know what they had in the player. I look forward to seeing this team taking another step in the right direction. Do I believe that this team can make a Super Bowl push…of course I do, and I hope every player in the locker room has the same expectations. When you say Miami you’re talking Super Bowl, cause we’re the Miami Dolphins number 1, fight, fight, fight, fins up

The media compares Tua to Herbert, and Burrow, but what they forget to say is that both of them had twice the playing time compared to Tua, and neither one had to learn a offense that wasn’t made for their skills nor had to rehab from a injury 8 months prior. Tua it’s your team to run now, no excuses. I believe that you can be great, now show the world you have it in your heart, mind, and body. Fins Up, Let’s Go!
Flo just has a great grasp of how to coach or parent. Players and children can hear something 10x and still not get it. Gotta make sure they get it and have them demonstrate that daily BEFORE you give them more.
