In the last 5, 6 years we’ve had Zeke, Saquon, Gurley, CMC, Fournette, etc. Najee will be good but let’s not pretend hell be in a class of his own. And that’s just pre-draft hype, we have monsters like Henry, Cook, and soon to be Taylor
@Underground 401 thank God you beat me to it, I read that guys reply in my fingers couldn’t wait to bust out all the great running backs that’s been drafted lately, including last year and the year before that!…. Matter of fact najee Harris might be the lowest graded first taken running back in previous drafts that I can remember…..🤔 Wait he wasn’t even the first RB taken! 😆😂😂 No thanks I’ll take Phillips all day!!
@Underground 401 100% Facts there is a Najee or 3 every couple years, This year Najee was hyped up more than usual because he dominated and coming from bama, plus there was not much top end, big name backs this year (2 , 3 tops) so Najee received most of the headlines and hype, last year with CEH, Swift, Taylor, Dobbins, Akers, Dillion etc the top end talent was much deeper. I wanted a back just as bad as anyone (not at 18, even Najee) and no way Flo was passing up on the best edge pass rusher and possibly best defensive player in the draft when that is exactly this really good D needs to make them ELITE. This guy is a game changer, he changes everything with the way teams have to line up and play against us, This very well could end up being the biggest steal and best pick of the draft, Phins up!
Wow…these kids truly are smart and already savvy with the media…Phillips was able to provide details without giving them too much team personal Information…I wonder if it’s natural or the staff doing an amazing job prepping these guys…smart, tough, team 1st and love the game, every draft has been exactly that whether we agree on the players taken or not💯
