    bazaar Gamez

Best rookies that the Vikings could ever get

    Broken Creed

I can’t wait to watch Mond in preseason

    veym

@Broken Creed there is preaseason this year?

    Jaheem02

@veym Yessirrr there is ! … are you not entertainedd ??

    Broken Creed

    @veym yeah I think it’s just 3 games

Alex Gregersen

My boy from Iowa state looking nice.

    Fk Yu

They both played for iowa. They were teammates

    Alex Gregersen

No I was talking about kene ngakwae I still don’t know how to spell his last name.

    Andrew Mendoza

@Alex Gregersen he didn’t really have a lot of highlights in this video that’s why I thought you were talking about Smith-Marsette

    Alex Gregersen

Well it was only like a 1 minute long video plus I said Iowa state.

    Alex Gregersen

My college team be on rocks right now. That dude was a monster at isu. But then again so was David Montgomery and he went to the bears and has not been very good.

Not Surge

I really hope Smith-marsette can turn out. He looks like hes gonna be really good

    ScentlessGhost

@Hue Yang it’s make or break for Rick and Zim. So they’re gonna have to pull out all the tricks they can.

    Rob E

@Jonathan Wilke Good data Johnathan – happy to concede the points about opportunities and competition.
The Osborn point, was if his college production translated to the NFL, that would be well above average and we wouldn’t be looking for a Kick returner.

What still doesn’t make sense is why the Vikes would tell Kene they want to him to return kicks, and draft him 3 players and 38 picks ahead of ISM, especially when Kene will rarely make the field at RB3/4.
If the Vikes saw ISM as the sole kick returner, then what did they draft Kene for?
If ISM was the preferred kick returner why did they not pick him at 119, especially when he also has more upside to make a contribution on offense at WR3?

If Kene is at best a special teams gunner then we passed over some pretty handy players like Darden, CBs Marco Wilson, Keith Taylor, Rochell, Tre Brown etc.

It’s clear the Vikes picked Kene for a reason, and they saw something that goes beyond a 3 yard kick return differential in college. I also have no doubt that ISM will end up being one of the Vikes biggest success stories from this draft. Whatever happens – it looks like our Special Teams are going to be markedly better this season. Skol!

    Jonathan Wilke

    @Rob E a 3 yard average is actually huge.

Compare a RB averaging 4 ypc against another averaging 5 ypc. One is average while the other is pro bowl. That’s a 1 yard difference.

Your point about a 40 time doesn’t mean much otherwise the NFL would just get track guys as returners. Watch the tape. ISM is far more explosive and maintains speed out of breaks.

I don’t get your point on draft position either. Nobody drafts a kick returner high. They drafted Kene to compete for a 3rd down back role. Both the top two backs for Minnesota are hammers. They want a speed back for 3rd downs.

There’s a reason 2 days into rookie camp we’re seeing highlights of ISM all over Vikings Twitter and YouTube. Unlike Kene, this dude actually accomplished something at the college level.

Kene may very well be in the mix as a returner, but there’s no debate that ISM was far more dynamic at that in college. Routinely mentioned among the nation’s best while I heard nothing special about Kene.

    Max Tong

@Rob E i was just replying to the other guy, he said if ISM is so good like people are saying, why was he a late round pick, lol. But yeah, I got your point bro

    Rob E

@Max Tong Hey dude – sorry, I’m with you. I think I misunderstood. There are so many negative Vikes fans and I sometimes get a bit direct.
I do like ISM though, his tape looks great, and sites like PFF rated him a 3rd rounder. He has that maturity question mark – like injuring himself during that celebratory back flip.
I think we’ve got another good one, in another good draft! Skol!

Grant Mourning

Shane Zylstra looks just like Kyle Rudolph. He had 54 TDs in college. Nothing flashy nor nasty but just caught passes, PERIOD!

    Bertska

Rudolph got a little flashy for us last season with all those fancy one hand catches 😂

    Rob E

He’ll be pressed to beat out Zach Davidson – 6’7″ and runs 4.5s. He could challenge Conklin for TE2 before the season ends.

carter goetzinger

Marsette looking sharp

    Danumis

You can tell he catches with very high concentration.

Nick Halfmann

I still might have my draft goggles on, but I feel we have a lot of rookies with promise. Also, I hope Zylstra pans out and can make the 53

    Nathan Burgard

Practice squad at the very least

    Nick Halfmann

@Nathan Burgard we lost his bro playing the practice squad game, hopefully it’s not the same outcome 🤞🏽

    DICK TRICKLE

So what are Brandon’s stats in Carolina, is he even playing?

Zombie Boi

I wish there was a longer video…I already love this crew

Mike Buford

I haven’t been this hyped in a longtime!! Let’s goooooooo!!!

Impractical Jokers Fan

So much potential one of them is gonna blow up this year

    William Tyndall

i’m ngl it might be imhir marsett bc he is a beast

Heinzbuck Sandcastle

The little tape of Mond shows a guy who stands up tall and whips the darn thing. Just like his pro day and college tape.

    Squirt Reynolds

@Danumis yeah I remember them saying that like his top 3 targets all opted out. That would make it tough

    Squirt Reynolds

@Danumis also I have more faith in him developing than I did ponder. Still would have pick a position of need in the third, but I’ll gladly eat my words in 2 years if he shows aht

    Where's Waldo??? ?

Need to get your eyes checked there Bubba. #mondbust

    Heinzbuck Sandcastle

@Where’s Waldo??? ? Hmmm, well are you an NFL coach, player or scout? Do you not see him throwing bullets?

TheOpeningFaun

Whoever made this music is amazing.

Urmomsidedude

ayyy Smith- Marsette got be a good one u can tell. He’s like a quicker Diggs

    Sir_Quis11

    Please stop it

    GrimmNastyy

Smith seems like more of a physical guy diggs is a pure route runner with good hands imo

    Fk Yu

@GrimmNastyy obviously you know nothing of ism

    Urmomsidedude

@GrimmNastyy I agree smith seems like a deep threat coming out of college. Diggs eventually became that. But diggs had a way higher ceiling I mean look at him now lol

    Jaeten

@GrimmNastyy Diggs is a monster at contested catching as well

Guy Black

I saw a few clips of Mond there, and from what I see, let me tell you – I don’t know a damn thing

    J D

    🤣🤣 love the take

    bernardshakey2609

Sorry, I ruined the thumbs up…I moved it to 70. Again, my apologies. But I won’t un-thumb up it. Because I have no damn idea as well

    T Lind

Not missing much. Texas A&M is not known for high powered air attack. Zimmer will probably like him if he practices well. It doesn’t matter if he sucks during pre season games just as long as he doesn’t make Cousins nervous about loosing his job.

    Frederick McLean

Lmao!!! Yeah we are really putting 5 seconds of tape under the microscope this time of year, aren’t we!!

    Amber Klein

One thing- word is he struggled a little. who cares? He will determine how good he will be through his attitude and work. plus… Mond is a 3rd round qb. If he never makes it, not much lost. He really should only improve (esp after a couple years learning behind an absolute classy pro who will never hesitate to teach Kellen to make him better)

PAINTnPONG

This class feels different… I have high hopes

    Rob E

Last years was great too – they didn’t really stand a chance hardly any practice or pre-season. I think a few of our 2nd year guys will make a jump with a full pre-season. This class is a lot more targeted – address the O line, back up QB, WR3, and depth guys that could also make an early impact on Special Teams – ISM, Kene, Zach, Surratt, Bynum.

    T Lind

Seriously there’s not that much of a change. Don’t get your hopes up with Zimmer and Cousins running things. And don’t bet any money on them either.

    Rob E

@T Lind Dude 40% of the O Line is different, 60% if you count Ezra’s likely shift. 80% of the 2021 week 1 Defence will be different from 2020 week 14-17. I think half the Special Teams will be different too. I’d say that is very different.
Or do you think we should trade players like Hunter and/or Darrisaw because they won’t make much difference??

Salvador Estrada

Calling it rn. Smith Marsetthe gonna be a dawg

Dawson Langdon

Mond and Shane Zylstra already a great duo

Ivo Eenink

We’re gonna need more then not even a minute of highlights! The fans are exited, give them what they want! SKOL!

Raymond Hoagland

Hope these rookies can take it to the next level for years to come 🏈

GrimmNastyy

Jesus I thought Chazz looked a little small on film…. I was wrong, that man is gigantic 🤣

    DANIELS LAWRENCE

this is a very interesting kid
