KEEP GUTE!

    Clint Holmes

He doesn’t throw the ball. I’d rather have the MVP HOF QB.

    adandf_16

@Clint Holmes Id rather have 2 frps 2 srp and a young qb over someone who doesn’t wanna be here 🙂

    Clint Holmes

@adandf_16 “Id rather have 2 frps 2 srp and a young qb” I prefer the known commadity of the MVP HOFer over a bunch of unknowns.

“someone who doesn’t wanna be here” Maybe he doesn’t want to be here in part because you and gute don’t know what you have in him. Maybe he’d want to stay if you thought more of him that draft picks. I can’t blame him for wanting to go somewhere where he is actually appreciated and is not trying to be replaced.

T Taylor

Doesn’t matter how many Super Bowls he wins. Gute will be remembered for running his 3 time NFL MVP winning QB out of Green Bay.

    Deborah F.

Aaron got McCarthy fired, wanted to have input in the hiring of the coach who replaced McCarthy, and now working on getting Gutey fired.
Yes, Aaron is something alright! Tired of his antics.

    urknahfirnauik

@Deborah F. McCarthy got himself fired. He kept Capers around to long even though the defense was bottom of the league and wasn’t improving for years. He became lazy and stopped showing up to walkthroughs so he could go do personal things like getting massages and never evolved his offense and the team struggled because of it. He deserved to be fired based on performance not Aaron.

    Ian

Aaron Rodgers should get a lifetime achievement award for somehow winning a Superbowl with Mike McCarthy as his HC. He is being exposed in Dallas as being incompetent as ever…

    Jivan Grewal

@Clint Holmes former Packer and friend of Rodgers AJ Hawk who was with him at the Kentucky Derby during the draft has already called that narrative false. Rodgers does not want Gute fired. That was a complete media fabrication. The issues Rodgers has with the team are an accumulation of things over the past decade. Adam Schefter who broke this story admitted that he essentially fabricated it based off various things he heard over many months and no actual insight or team insider.

    Clint Holmes

@Jivan Grewal ” former Packer and friend of Rodgers AJ Hawk who was with him at the Kentucky Derby during the draft has already called that narrative false” No. He didn’t. This is funny because you may as well be the fake news you criticize. He never said this. You are just lying. He did say that rodgers was mad it got out…. not that rodgers was mad.

“Rodgers does not want Gute fired.” I find that hard to believe and don’t really care. I want gute fired. And so should anyone who is sane and wants the packers to win.

“The issues Rodgers has with the team are an accumulation of things over the past decade.” In other words it isn’t BS that aaron is unhappy. He is unhappy and he is right to be.

“Adam Schefter who broke this story admitted that he essentially fabricated it based off various things he heard over many months and no actual insight or team insider.” Maybe tell me something I don’t know that isn’t a complete lie like your first sentence.

Lee86

This draft looks like a gold mine compared to last years. Guys (plural) that will compete for starting spots. Maddness.

lakeC

Gute has showed a ton of class and poise throughout this whole Rodgers saga. Regardless of what happens I have respect for how he’s handled himself. Hopefully Rodgers can overcome his hurt feelings and come back to win a Super Bowl.

    Clint Holmes

He’s a clown who tried to replace his HOF QB rather than work with him. I’ll call him a class act right after he has the decency to quit.

    lakeC

@Clint Holmes This narrative that Rodgers hasn’t been given any help by the front office is such lazy garbage. Best LT, WR in football. Top 5 RB. Top 5 OL. Emerging potential star at TE. Let’s also not forget that Rodgers was average at best in 2019. Was 20th in the league in QBR. He also wasn’t great in 2018. You act like the 2020 MVP Rodgers was the same Rodgers we saw those previous seasons. That’s not even close to being true. But sure. It’s all Gute’s fault.

    MarkiBash

@lakeC not to mention all the noise about how Adam schefter is making Aaron Rodgers look bad, but same could be said about the organization. Who actually knows what’s going on? Perhaps he is regretting the jordan love pick? Perhaps he’s trying to improvise with the transition? At least the dude is committed to contending by resigning most of the roster.

    John Holiday

@lakeC Gutekunst became GM in 2018. Look at the last three drafts. Bakhtiari, Adams, and Jones weren’t drafted by him. Jaire Alexander is maybe the only exceptional pick in three years. The Packers 2020 draft class’s contribution was almost at the bottom of the league. Even leaving Jordon Love out of it, Gute should be fired for all his misses on the last three drafts. Sure he got the Smith brothers in free agency, but he also wouldn’t pay 5M to keep Jordy Nelson and instead went out and got Jimmy Graham for 10M. He’s incompetent and Aaron Rodger’s play has covered up Gute’s horrible personnel decisions.

    Josh Mahony

    @John Holiday facts

Matt Hawkins

Rodgers needs to take a pay cut, sign an extension and the Packers can give him the weapons he wants so bad.

    Clint Holmes

@Wyatt Let me put it to you this way… you, “or said that he wanted weapons.”
Rodgers, “a weapon that I like is jake kumerow.”
The packers GM, “F that guy Kumerow.”

You do the math. Aaron shouldn’t even need to complain about this for you to figure out if they are going to like it or not.

    Wyatt

@Clint Holmes First off complementing someone isn’t complaining. Second off Rodgers talked about liking Kumerow before he was released so even if complimenting was complaining (which it isn’t) that example still wouldn’t apply. I don’t know how that is hard to understand. Rodgers’s has never once complained about weapons.

    Sebastian Wanglöf

@Wyatt why u bothering with this? He is just fueled by all the fake media RN. He hasnt learned yet its all fake news

    Wyatt

    @Sebastian Wanglöf True

    urknahfirnauik

@Sebastian Wanglöf ya just wait until OTAs when Aaron doesn’t show up to voluntary workouts to protect his body cause he raved about how much he loved the structure last year during covid that’s being carried over. Media is gonna have a field day. Schefter already spin zoned the fact Packers need another backup cause they lost one to free agency into they are getting one cause of Aaron. The overblown news will be interesting coming up.

Percy Haskell

Don’t let the haters get you down Gutey, AWESOME job mate.

    Axiomatic -_- Pain

Great job at picking draft picks, but that is only a sliver of his job, he is horrible at the other 90% of his work

    taintkool

The Packers welcome their new media superstar Greg Guteskunt. No need for Rodgers when you got Guteskunt wheeling and dealing for real ballas like Teddy Bridgewater!!!!

    Jivan Grewal

@Axiomatic -_- Pain he’s done a solid job at bringing in free agents as well. His sole role with this team is roster building and having a partial say in coaching hires. Anything else including players contracts are responsibilities of other FO personnel (such as Russ Ball our cap space/player contracts manager).

MrSportsKnowItAll

This draft will mean nothing if Aaron isn’t playing.

Joshua Peterson

Love Gutsy Gutey. Love Aaron, Love Lafleur. 26 and 6.

Initium Novum

Some of the best advice I ever received is don’t get worked up over something you have no control over. Some more was when I was younger and almost living and breathing football and baseball was my father saying don’t stress over sports or any other entertainment, because no matter what happens with them life will go on. Just food for thought as some people are losing their …. you know

    ThePasterio

It all depends on what that us? Is it with getting worked up? Some people are built for it and some aren’t…….

    Mark ODay

Its A Freaking SPORT honestly. How much can I care ?

    Clint Holmes

@Mark ODay Enough to be here commenting.

Bret Iverson

Run to daylight!

Danny Wallace

– Rodgers…..

Ligaya Barlow

Nice vid. Gooty. Where’s Aaron? 😂

James L Avery

Once Gutekunst exposed himself by not supporting Aaron Rodgers, he had to change team selection. He and the coach concerted against the quarterback. Carrying grudges of the previous coach was a bad idea.

Theodensa

Lets see the Eric Stokes get some return reps?

John Wayne Everett

BE NICE

Peter Ohrmund

Why does Brian still have a Job. We need that MVP QB.

    Sebastian Wanglöf

You did hear all those rumors were straight Bull right?

    Dicezart

Media creates false narratives surrounding Rodgers EVERY offseason. When will people learn…smh

    Sebastian Wanglöf

    @Dicezart i know right..

Joseph Riehl

Fire this dude if it means Aaron is happy and back

Ken

This whole situation was avoidable. People need to admit their mistakes own them, fix them and move on it’s that simple. We need to keep Aaron at all costs.

Plot twist: his nice on camera, but off camera idk

Derek

The brains behind the whole thing! Don’t believe the bs hype. In Gute we trust!
