Die hard Lions fan here, but the truth is there aren’t any nobodies in the NFL, and if there were we’d be in that category considering our recent lack of success, I’m excited for the future but it wouldn’t be very Detroit of us if we didn’t keep it real.
lol our schedule is like all playoff teams this coming season. I think we will be much improved as a team but will be hard to get Ws with the schedule we have.

Imo now Goff is in a nee system with a staff that will put him in a better position to win we could see the Goff that helped lead the rams to the Super Bowl, I ain’t saying the team is gonna go first year but I can see them racking up like 7-9 wins, enough for a wild card slot at least

@JiuJitsu Ronin ya before teams figured out he can’t handle the heat. He had an offensive genius calling the shots and a top 3 oline, top 3 run game, top 5-7 reciever core AND top 2-3 D. Yet he still couldn’t score a measly 14 pts to win a SB… when push comes to shove he’s just not good enough to get it done

He should have enough time, hopefully, that even some mediocre WR’s running a good route can always get open. I’m so happy we finally have a run game so they won’t know what we’re doing every play!
I will reserve judgement on this guy until I see how he plays in Detroit. Hope he does well and my Lions actually become a team that wins some playoff games and the division.
I hope Goff will be to the lions what Alex Smith was to the Chiefs.
A.) Remarkably better than expected.
B.) Better than 10-6 on average.
C.) A reinvigoration of his career.
D.) A placeholder for us to sign a cheaper rookie so we can further develop a super bowl winner.
Goff is only like 25 this dude could easily be the next stafford for us with hopefully a better surrounding cast
@Logan for real, people think rookie QB’s failure rate isn’t risky, meanwhile we have a former #1 overall pick with superbowl experience, the disrespect is real… i really hope Dan Campbell works his magic and turns Goff’s chip into hunger, it’s only to be expected.

Can’t wait until he proves people that doubt him wrong the kid earned my respect in two games the shoot out with Mahomes on a Monday night football game and the game he had to play in Lambeau field with a broken thumb hopefully with a new system and a solid O line he can bounce back and be our QB 1 for years to come
