Edelman fought through injury for a few games then hit the IR. White missed a bunch of games after his parents tragic accident. No more Gronk, injured Sony, terrible run defense, Gilmore out. What would a different QB have changed on that 7-9 roster? Nothing.
Ok maybe not “nothing” but nothing more than a divisional round loss and a shittier draft pick, preventing us from selection Mac at 15 haha.
@Jason everything you say is true. I predicted they’d go 6-10 so they exceeded my expectations by a game. If it wasn’t for Cam’s recklessness/carelessness we could’ve easily been 10-6. Cam is not our long term solution.
@Rudy Thompson Cam wasn’t amazing, but you guys had nothing on offense I’m not defending Cam, but last year you guys had no elite talent.
@Rudy Thompson I hear ya. They were really close vs Seattle and Buffalo. Couldn’t practice the week of the Denver loss. No starting QB vs the Chiefs. But hey, that’s football. I still don’t mind giving Cam 1 more shot if there are teams out there giving a shot to Drew Lock, Sam Darnold, and IGNORING drafting a QB. I think Bill has played it as well as he could with the available options.
