Noticed that TB payed attn. to special teams and future needs. Very smart.
How do you guys not use AB as a punt returner? He’s better as a returner than as a receiver currently.
@Ethan Smith he had 600+ yards 4 receiving tds in pretty much half a season and as a 3rd string wr. I’d say that’s way more contribution than special teams. Special teams was weak for us but it was not just replacing the returner that was the problem. It was punt coverage too!
@The Red Pearl He’s a pretty good receiver, but he’s a better punt returner now. Also, I understand what you’re saying.
@Ethan Smith agreed. Also. He might be the returner this season. I assumed he wasn’t because he needed to learn the offense and putting him on special teams and take away from learning the playbook more to contribute during the season was more priority. But that’s only my guess.
