I honestly think he should have picked fields on his first pick , I mean come on we had a good defense last year we just couldn’t score points we need a offense to keep up with mahomes
The Chiefs we’re 1st in the league in passing, the Chargers were 6th and the Raiders were 7th. Surtain was the right and smart pick tht is one of the safest picks in the 1st rnd. Why would you want a waaay higher risk of bust on your first pick ever as GM? And why draft someone you dnt obviously believe in? Plus I know Fields’ epilepsy and his medication in altitude played a role as well.
nah we actually sucked on defense that was one of our weeknesses last year but our defense is unstoppable now but we do need to get Rodgers tho that will be fire🔥🔥

Our CBs had major injury issues, and we got a potential 3 down running back who loves to plow through contact to go with some depth on the O line and LBs. It’s a good draft, and in early rounds you always go best available or you end up with Tebow…

Atwater was a stud except for that one acf championship game against the steelers.
Broncos won but Atwater did everything possible so they wouldn’t. I always wondered what his pay day was for that one game?

I wouldn’t mind getting him, but not for 3 firsts for a 37 year old QB. Sure he’d make us better, but I’d rather have a chance to fill 3 positions with starters for a decade. If it happens it’s right before the season when Rodgers shows how serious he was about not playing for the Packers again. They really disrespected him with the first round last year, and promising to trade him this year, but is he really pissed or is he looking for one more contract extension?

Special teams are a third of the game. We just raised the floor in that area.
Really happy with Paton’s choices. I would have liked to get Justin Feilds. But I would also like to see what Drew Lock has learned. And Pat Surtain is a future probowler
