love the surtain pick, broncos have bad luck with drafting QB’s , stick to your HC’s strength’s ! lets go broncos !
He’ll probably be a perennial pro bowler, cant go wrong with that.
In a division with Mahomes and Herbert that was a great pick.
Shoulda gotten fields. Even if we do manage to get rogers hell retire in a couple seasons, fields would have been a great long term.
@Seth Baldwin You make a very valid argument, but I still feel like Fields would have been the smarter more advantageous pick, assuming we land Rogers. If we do somehow land Rogers, then we have options: We can start rogers and let Fields and Bridgewater/Lock learn with him throughout the season. that way when rogers retires in a few seasons, we have lock or bridge water to fill the gap. A good comparison to this situation is when Rogers was drafted to the packers. The packers drafted him with the intention of sitting him for a couple years until Farve retired. This gave rogers the opportunity to learn from Farve and adjust from college to Pro.

The Chiefs were 1st in passing, the Chargers were 6th and the Raiders were 7th lol this was the right and smartest pick.
@sports fanatic it was a completely different time when Rodgers was drafted lol. Pretty much all rookies used to sit first back then.
Why get someone you’re not sold on? The best corner in the draft was available. You have to get him. Especially since Bryce and Kyle only have 1 year left.

The concern over not drafting a quarterback is understandable.
We’ll have to wait a year to find out.
If lock does good and fields doesn’t then Paton will be a genius. But other way around and he’ll look like the biggest fool. But besides that the picks were great. Surtain will be a perennial pro bowler. Javonte looks like an awesome weapon to pair with Gordon. Cant wait to see him run over people. Meinerz will take Glasgow’s spot by start of season.
Baron Browning put up freakish numbers at pro day and is better than jewel.
They got at least 4 players that will contribute right away. A Few of the later guys were taken solely for special team abilities so they will contribute also. I think a great draft. We’ll have to wait for june 1st to see if Rodgers comes. If we get him as well….Paton will look like friggin Einstein. Otherwise he’ll live or die with lock and teddy.

The only part I disagree with is Glasgow. He is too expensive for a back up. Maybe kick Glasgow to center meinerz at guard
