God I absolutely LOVE this pick! This defense and running game is gunna really offset a lot of the flaws at QB. Great field position and great running game is a recipe for wins. Javonte will take the lead role after this year as well and Gordon will more than likely be gone. No need to push the ball down the field at that point. The Broncos are a much better team now then they were last year. So excited.

So, I look at it this way. Gordon isn’t guaranteed to stay (even possibly beyond preseason) this guy can start right away and they got 2 guys behind them in Freeman and Boone who want to earn playing time.
And I haven’t heard an official statement, but I thought I heard that Gordon will be serving up to 4 games suspension.
Denver may try to trade Gordon if they feel that Boone and Williams can carry the workload. But it appears that Paton wants to build an old school smash-mouth team with an elite Defense.

Didn’t even show the play against Miami everyone has highlighted this week.
Javonte took a handoff, got to the outside, hurdled the arms of a defender, lowered his shoulder and trucked another player, kept running and did a spin move to avoid a couple of tacklers, finally taken down after 50 yards. Honestly think Williams is the steal of the round.
