He’s fighting for his job that’s for sure but he’s definitely killed it this draft
The Bears are having an excellent draft. This is Matt Nagy’s draft, Ryan Pace don’t have anything to do with the draft. He’s taking all the credit like most GMs.
@Flat Horizons his job in my opinion is safe he is a high risk high reward guy and I think we’ve been rewarded guys
@Keith Taylor If Chicago doesn’t do well this season, then it’s all on Nagy. Pace is safe for a few years.

I agree. At some point we have to stick with a coach and gm. We can’t just keep firing and hiring. Hopefully things are on the up for pace and nagy. Not a huge fan of either BUT the last two days went a long way.
Remember he came from an organization that hasn’t drafted a legitimate NFL QB since Archie Manning.
Bro y’all switched up so fast haha, I knew from the start he made one mistake and people were calling for his head. This is what a good GM looks like, learning from his mistakes.

The trade up on Trubisky is what killed him. He totally got played by a rookie GM.
Agreed. Nobody knew Kevin white would keep getting injured. Leonard Floyd was a risky pick taken on upside, but he could never gain weight and was really better in pass coverage. Most people had Mitch as the QB1 of the draft. It happens. He’s also found Eddie Jackson, Tarik Cohen, bilal Nichols and much more after round 3. He’s not a bad GM.

@KB Werks they signed Desmond Trufant, who’s a solid pick up. Talented player who was on a badly coached defense.
I don’t think he was nearly as good as fuller though.
Need a Trevathan replacement. His age showed last year. Aint got that energy anymore.

@Randy Koney Name a college that produces QB’s. As of now, it is Clemson, but no University produces QB’s it is the talent of the player in itself not the school.

@Randy Koney Saying he’s a bust cause of a college team he played for is just idiotic. He proved to play very well when he was on the field for Georgia! He’s also a top 5 QB coming out of college in the past decade. You can’t compare him to others just because they played for the same team as other QBs who didn’t do well. The only recent QB that was drafted in the 1st round from Ohio state was Dwayne Haskins, but EVERYONE knows its going to take time to develop him, and teams need to be patient with him. This is not the case with Fields. I can’t wait to come back to this post after the season is over to prove you wrong.

I will admit I was one of the people who doubted Ryan Pace this year I was wrong as a fan. As that guy from Game of Thrones said to Jon Snow: ” A man can only admit when he was wrong and ask forgiveness”. All I can say is, kudos Ryan Pace and Nagy, this team is looking insanely good now.
