@MGTOW Freedom that could be said for any player look at Brandon brooks he’s still one of the best guards in the league but he’s had like 3 torn achilles normally players are never the same after 1 of those at the end of the day everyone around this guy says he’s special so I’m gonna believe them till proven otherwise and again if the best O-line coach in the league wants him than I’ll trust his judgement

@Marathon Houston yeah people are being very cavalier about acl injuries. brandon brooks is an all pro but can’t stay healthy. how is this not the same thing?

@Renard Odrick difference is brooks didn’t start getting injured til later in his career this kid has already had 2 big injuries that require surgery in college alone..
I hope Dickerson works out, I really do, but I’m skeptical.

@Marathon Houston he would have been there in the 3rd. This is Howie thinking he is smarter than everybody again. He apologizes for bad picks and he is at it again. What doctor would clear this at 37? hoping does cure injuries.

@Renard Odrick we shall see.. and yea atleast we got smith though. I been wanting him or chase for ages and we knew chase would get drafted before 6, got and extra first next year and still got smith, so that’s a win atleast.

@DawkinsPlays have you seen him play? Idc about his injury list, he’s likely gonna take a year anyways which will help him recover and get stronger. We don’t have a reliable backup center that wouldn’t leave another position broken, now we do. That’s not to mention that he plays all 5 positions and would be the 2nd best all around OL behind Slater. He immediately became a team leader at Bama and garnered the respect of the locker room. If he goes on to have a long healthy career at an All Pro level, would it still be a bad selection?

@SkyHigh Fadedguy his injuries is why we picked him up in the second round and not in the first. Kind of like Sidney Jones.

@DawkinsPlays nah, 2 different positions and if you want to be technical, Sidney Jones played pretty well this year. He had a major injury that hampered his athleticism in a position where you need athleticism to be successful. Dickerson has athleticism but doesn’t need to move around the field to be successful even though he can. Let him rest a year, gain full strength and he could be our starting center for the next 10+ years. Sometimes the body just needs a break. All I’m really saying is give him a shot.

Also i dont have to be a GM to see how poorly Howie has drafted in recent years. So as a fan criticizing a injury prone player.. being picked when weve had nothing but injuries in the last couple years. A player who wont even play next year.. its pretty to say there were better options.. players that couldve had impact immediately. Hows Dillard working out? You dont have to be a GM to use your brain.

An Achilles injury to a corner is ALOT diff to a ACL injury to a o lineman

@Bo Then people are just upset they didn’t go elsewhere. They tried to make him play RT and he struggled cause he’s never played there and that’s where people judge his play. If you play WR and a team puts you at CB, chances are there’s gonna be a learning curve. He should compete with Mailata for starting LT next year

@SkyHigh Fadedguy that’s the thing is to many too many people talking about football when they don’t really know what are they talking about offensive line is the most important thing in football after the QB if our O line is good we are gonna be good and people gotta understand that
