Gutekunst: ‘We’re Not Going To Trade Aaron Rodgers’ – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Strutz3E

Congratulations Eric Stokes! This is your night. I’m so excited to see him play in Green and Gold!!!

    Packers Fan12

I’m so excited for our gm to get fired next season another waste of a 1st rounder dudes a second round talent could’ve traded back n still got him smh

    Juan Ritz

@Packers Fan12 We have a brilliant GM on our hands here, boys. You tell em’ buddy.

    Robert Witt

    Whos Eric stokes

Jadon Vandenberg

Shoutout to the reporters who actually asked about tonight’s draft pick

    NoEphingIdea

Bigger shout out to the reporters asking the more important questions…. unfortunately Gutekunst gave more non answers

    Gerald

Just because it’s draft day doesn’t mean the Aaron questions aren’t the most important ones. He’s worth multiple first round picks to this team.

    Ligaya Barlow

    Irrelevant

    Packers Fan12

Eric stokes is more important than Rodgers how dumb does that sound

    Gerald

@Packers Fan12 that’s why I said the Aaron Rodgers questions are the more important ones. Draft day or literally any other day of the year with the news that broke yesterday, that’s what the media should be focused on.

Kim Lamberth Matic

To be fair, Rodgers was on the mind of every Packers fans right now. I really doubt if any Packers fans is thinking of Stokes or even cares about the pick. Gutekunst traded up to draft QB in a class with depth in the WR position last year, now after an MVP season his franchise QB wants out, of course the media have to asked him about that.

    Marty Moose

As a lifelong Packer fan of course I’m worried about Aaron. Now your claim that we don’t care about Eric Stokes is nonsense. I’m super excited for this kid and the more tape I watch of him the more excited I get. He might be the fastest Green Bay Packer we Ever had. Sam Shields was almost as fast with a 4.26 vs Stokes 4.25.

    Kim Lamberth Matic

@Marty Moose I’m sorry it came out wrong I did not mean to demean the fan base or Stokes. I made the comment a little early with less than a hundred views and about three or four other comments, and all other comments were about how disrespectful the media is by asking their GM about Rodgers when it shall be about Stokes. I was just trying to make a point that of course the media is going to ask about Rodgers. An MVP leaving his team is such a headline. The media is just doing their job here. Rodgers might have just stolen the thunder from every rookie today, even Trevor Lawrence. Every sports outlets were expected to discuss the upcoming rookies but instead all they talked about is Rodgers and his potential destinations.

    urknahfirnauik

@Spark Joseph outside of Davante everyone is unreliable fact of the matter is they need a number 2 to put them over the top. MVS and Lazard have butterfingers at times. Heck, Rodgers could of easily had over 50 tds if it wasn’t for MVS dropping wide open passes for TDs and Lazard wasn’t the same player after the core injury and dropped key passes down the stretch. They need a complement thats reliable otherwise if they double Davante you need to hold your breath someone sets up and makes a play.

    Chadro Donni

@urknahfirnauik Dont forget, we have big Bob Tonyan… He had the best catch rate in the NFL… As a TE!!
We have more weapons than most people realize.

    Killer Champion

Speak for yourself cuz Im happy we got a cb

Kevin Friday

Chris Stokes is going to be great, he reminds me of Al Harris!

    HotBoyChance1 _

@monkeyman3831 the corner who got drafted tonight name is Eric stokes not Chris stokes

    Art Skyea

    @Kyle Cullen

    You dont remember Al Harris?

    You must be young

    Stephen Sporman

@Art Skyea exactly lol baffles me that fans don’t remember him. Harris and Mckenzie were the dread head dynamic duo back then

    Jack Hammer

@Stephen Sporman No, he was talking about how he called Eric stokes “Chris Stokes”

    monkeyman3831

    @HotBoyChance1 _ I thought u were talking to me 😂

Silent Unseen

4:18 – After seven back-to-back questions about what Aaron Rodgers ate this morning, first actual question about the 29th overall pick.

Andrew Ervasti

I was excited as a Vikings fan for Aaron Rodgers to leave the Packers. Now this video lowered my excitement. 🙁

Dakota Martinez

The packers defense has needed help this whole decade.

    legendarycelticspackersfan

@Mark ODay they reached for underwhelming players

    Benny B

@Goosby Goosby wish they would’ve drafted Patrick queen last year… the combination of the back field we have currently and the pass rush we have he would’ve made a huge difference

    Julien Alexander

    ❗❗❗❗

    Packers Fan12

It doesn’t help get a developmental second round talent, They should’ve got someone to make an impact rn

    Jeff Johnson

    I agree

Serene Solace

Brian is seeing his job flash before his eyes.

    A Man

Besides last year’s draft he’s done a great job

    Joe Larson

@A Man for years he has had great picks.

    urknahfirnauik

Anyone notice him start to sweat near the end of the press conference 😂

xIcBbIx v3n0m64

Dear Arron Rodgers, Dont beat yourself up. Don’t doubt yourself in anyway because you are that crazy glue that sticks and bonds. With any any material. You are dangerous for our eyes to behold!! Much love.
– A Packer Fan

Peter Southern Boy

Unless you watched the secondary get burned over and over again in the NFC Championship

    Marty Moose

I don’t see how any Packer fan forgets how bad Kevin King was. If we had Eric Stokes on the field in place of King we could have went to the SB. Aaron Rodgers drama has too many of us fans on tilt. Rodgers is under contract 3 more years he’s not going anywhere.

    C Garcia

@Marty Moose he’s rich and doesn’t care. He can sit out put his feet up or pull a Gronk and retire and come back.

    C Garcia

And what is the chance of getting back to that game without Rodgers?

    Peter Southern Boy

@C Garcia – Rodgers is under contract until the 2024 season. He can either play for Green Bay or host a game show – those are his two options until 2024.

Dan Lemon

I root for the players that are on the field.

    Marty Moose

Same here. First year I became a Packer Fan Randy Wright was our QB. I love Rodgers but I also loved Favre and Majkowsi before him. I’m a Packer Fan first Rodgers fan second.

    Gerald

I think we all do. But we also want the best players on the field.

Kevin M. Cooley, Sr.

Great pick GB. Go Pack Go!

MonsterRacing 38

If we don’t want to lose the MVP and there’s definitely an argument that he is possibly the best QB to ever play the game, then make him HAPPY!!! He deserves what he’s asking for and expecting.

    Ligaya Barlow

This is Wisconsin. Where gratitude is a sign of weakness and Aaron’s had enough.

wienerdoggin74

Gutekunts legacy will be the guy that lost the best QB to play football !

    Stephen Dixon

Just like when Ted Thompson moved on from Brett Favre

    Divinum

People said the same thing about Ted Thompson. Where are those folks now?

    Exime Do'Urden

But the Packer fans are the still biggest losers in this situation.

    mi gusta

    @Stephen Dixon sorry but Brett ain’t 12

Jeroen Bruin

I’m guessing right about now Guti wouldn’t mind re-doing his 2020 first round pick if he could, so he could’ve just taken a receiver and not have to deal with these questions

    Chadro Donni

He traded up with Ayuik in mind…
When San Fran snagged him, they took Love…
The next highest rated player on their board.

Chico Chris

If ya don’t make Rodgers happy in the next rounds he’s gone

Gus Pisano

I get it. We’re all on pins and needles about the situation with #12, but let’s not loose sight of how many times the defense has let us down especially in championsip games. Congrats to Eric on joining the team

Kenrry Castillo

He lying, they haven’t talked to Aaron Rogers

J W

Shout out nags! CHTV RULES!!!

Kolton Hegstrom

I wish someone should’ve asked him, “if you feel that passionately about Aaron, why did you trade up to draft a qb last year?”
