    If their wrong, then he’d be gone before His second contract.

    @Avery Giavonni Spirit of Detroit PodcastHow were Mayhew and Quinn only figure heads when they were the ones making the final decision on making the draft selections, especially at the top of the draft? He was with Millen for only a year. Brad Holmes, just like those two, has final say on the draft selections.

    @Avery Giavonni Spirit of Detroit Podcast I agree with that, and maybe the scouting department will be replaced. But at the same time the scouts for all NFL teams watch all the same players, watch the same film, and have all the access to information on the players. There really are no surprises when it comes to the draft. The failure is in making the selections that don’t pan out over and over again, which is why Mayhew and Quinn were shown the door.
