Where is Danny McCray?? He’s been gone a month!

evilSWA - beyond pandora films

Barry Church is PREACHING.

    El Dub

    And he sounded ill-informed

K _____

If Kyle Pitts is there he’ll be the best player on the board. It’s really that simple. Y’all talk like Surtain is Ramsey but taking him won’t magically make the defense elite.

Edit-If Surtain is such an elite CB prospect why is nobody talking about Atlanta taking him at 4? They need defensive help jus as bad as us. Elite corners don’t last long look at Okudah last draft.

    El Dub

They are listening to the mock draft pundits instead of doing their own research

And what exactly does Kyle pitts do with one of the top offenses in the league? How does he dramatically change things? I have literally never seen so many people over hype a dude just because he had similar stats to somebody else had a pro day. Because y’all aint basing it off of his stats 43 catches and 770 yards last year. Where is the generational talent with those stats? Where is the player that is revolutionizing the game? So he’s going to revolutionize the NFL but put up pedestrian stats at Florida? His leading receiver on Florida had twice as many catches and twice as many yards explain. Florida threw for 4500 yards and Pitts didn’t even come CLOSE to 1000 and didn’t even have fifty catches? But this is the guy that’s gonna change the whole league? 🥱

    K _____

@evilSWA – beyond pandora films him not blocking doesn’t matter when he’s on the field it will force defenses to play a certain way. People say it would harm Zeke I see it as the opposite. With Pitts, Coop, Lamb and Gallup on the field who do you double? Three of those players will have one on ones. That in turn will lighten the boxes Zeke sees and he will be able to grind out more yards. With a healthy o line? That changes the offense drastically and if coached right by Kellen Moore could be a time control offense and an attacking one at the same time. There’s my essay.

    K _____

And if you take Pitts who says you can’t be aggressive and trade back in the first? Get a first round corner as well. That’s how I would do it.

Jesus Loya

If we do NOT draft Defense , we will have trouble. Plus we need o line men . Got to protect dak and dak needs to slide

    peaceful24

    You so right

Lois Koolya

IT was started with their bad draft : took taco instead of TJ Watt, ignored ET, Juan Thornhill

Dope episode!

1.) DE Kwitty Paye 6’5″ 266lbs
2.) CB Eric Stokes 6’1″ 190lbs
3.) LB Azeez Ojulari 6’3″ 240lbs
3.) OT Teven Jenkins 6’6″ 320lbs
4.) FS Ar’darius Washington 5’8″ 178lbs
4.) DT Alim McNeal 6’2″ 320lbs
5.) LB Charles Snowden 6’7″ 240lbs
6.) CB/S Ifeatu Melifonwu 6’3″ 215lbs
6.) TE Tony Poljan 6’7″ 260lbs
7.) Best available PR/KR

This would produce at least 3 starters [Paye, Stokes & Ojulari] and possibly 2 more [Washington & McNeal]. Several are also outstanding special teams players. If Jerry Jones would simply allow the draft genius of Will McClay to run it…this would be the result.

A draft like this plus the return of Dak and the OL men, will enable them to win 11 to 12 games. I cannot stress too much the need for good coaching, player development and strength/conditioning! The Cowboys did not have the worst defense in the league last year. They had the worst coaching last year.

I’m with ya guys, fix the D, and Surtain is our first best step. And sure, I love seeing my offense score, but my adrenaline goes through the roof when my defense denies the opponents offense. I love to scream DENIED !!!!

Strongbah43

The best defense is a #1 offense that can convert 3rd and 5 at will. Kyle Pitts can easily get 4 yards a catch with his body, how Kittle and Kelce carry their teams.

Tray Mack

That one dislike must be danny mccray😂

Spectral Fire

You’ve got to take good players. You can’t just take a guy because he’s a defender. I’m no scout but every scout I’ve listened to said there’s not a big difference between the round 1 corners and the round 2 corners but there’s huge difference between the offensive players at the top of the draft and those coming after.

    Devil Dog

You’re right, we HAVE to take good players. And I think since McClay got here, we’re doing a better job of Drafting Offense. Now name me a GM who’s NOT enamored of Kyle Pitts because of his talent. I don’t want Dallas to draft ANOTHER Receiver, I want to start stockpiling Defensive Draft Picks. I KNOW it’s possible to remake a WHOLE TEAM in one season because I’ve seen it done!
So I’d rather watch the Draft go by and take my choice of Defensive players as they come to me.. I KNOW there are great Defensive players available and you HAVE to figure out which ones are the best not only available but at ANY Defensive position. My vote is for Patrick Surtain. He was before the season, he was during the season and he still is my #1 CB after the season. Horn, I love the aggressive play but unless he tones that grabbing down REAL QUICK he’ll be penalized left and right.

Devil Dog

Great show today!
I agree with Newey, we’ve GOT to fix our D. It’s a 2-3 year job, at a minimum unless we get EXTREMELY LUCKY and get some GREAT Defensive players in the Draft and FA.

Devil Dog

DLaw and SS Donovan Wilson are the TWO PLAYERS I can name on D as Blue Chippers. In 2016 or 2018 I could have listed ALL the Linebackers. Things sure move fast nowadays.

Devil Dog

Sad to hear about DMX. I wasn’t a big rap fan when I listened to the language my son was being exposed to back in the early ’90s (of course I was used to kid’s swearing). But at 13, I KNEW he heard the same from his friends b/c so did I, so I didn’t worry about it.
But my fav is still the classic, “Party Up” (“Up in Here”). I can’t remember which video game that song was the main track to but while the game was decent, the song fu*king rocked!!!
R.I.P. Brother. And thank you for the music.

Eric Pesina

Thumbs up just for the DOC love! ” put it in the middle, and drop it on the one boy!”

Devil Dog

Zeke would never regain his old form, which is why he’s gone after the next couple of years. I read that that’s the time when we can afford to cut him. It’s also why they didn’t extend his contract, like they do with guys they’re gonna keep to the end. And Zeke’s not the Shiny New Toy anymore. Pitts is. But we’re taking Surtain.

Devil Dog

Newey reminded me, forget all my other comments.
I get so F***ING MAD WHEN EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT. WE ARE EITHER TIED, DOWN A SCORE OR UP A SCORE. WE’RE DRIVING AND ZEKE IS GETTING 4, 4.6, 3.9, 4.2. etc. Mixing in a few slants and quick flat passes and moving the ball well. Our Offense is humming along.
THEN MOORE DECIDES, “HELL, LET’S THROW A BOMB TO COOPER.”
NEVER MIND THAT COOP’S DOUBLE-COVERED.
AND THE BALL GETS PICKED.
I HAVE SEEN THIS SCENARIO TAKE PLACE SEVERAL TIMES DURING MOORE’S TIME AS OC.
I will be watching to see if he grows out of those stupid, impetuous calls when the game is going great and a call like that changes the momentum. I hope everyone who reads this pays attention to it.

Vincent Johnson

Pitts is “GENERATIONAL” don’t know why they keep thinking he falls to 10.
