Let’s Go Bucs

YEAH AIGHT

Imagine the bucs offense if they did select 1 of the top 2 RBs this year

    YEAH AIGHT

    @Joshua Vaughn He’s 1 dimensional

    GlassTopRX7

No running back is ever worth a 1st round pick these days.

    YEAH AIGHT

@GlassTopRX7 When the pick is late 30s in beyond it is

    GlassTopRX7

@YEAH AIGHT No it’s not, are you forgetting we have Rojo and Vaughn. The latter only got 26 attempts last year. We don’t need to draft at all.

    YEAH AIGHT

@GlassTopRX7 Vaughn is not really good… We will lose Fournette and Mccoy and I’ll rather draft a young stud RB that can also catches passes then to actually buy 1

J D

The Bucs should draft a lockup man cornerback who runs a 4.3.

    J D

@Lo Bello Dude, stop being a fan for a second and be objective. Davis runs a 4.53, that’s safety speed. The Bucs do not have an ELITE man coverage corner, period. Lattimore can play Evans one on one all game and give up one catch. The Bucs don’t have that guy. You’re either getting better, or you’re getting worse in the NFL. There is no staying the same.

    YEAH AIGHT

@J D Why would they draft A CB???? They don’t need a CB all the top corners will be gone by 32

    J D

@YEAH AIGHT I’ve repeatedly explained above that there is a hole in the Bucs’ secondary. They don’t have that lockup guy like Marson Lattimore. So they have to run a lot of zone to mask it.

    YEAH AIGHT

@J D So u f***** think you’re going to find a lockup CB at pick 32??? With at least 4-5 of the top Prospects at that position off the Board??? Tampa whole Secondary are already on rookie Contracts and have so much depth at CB they if anything would go for someone of the interior of the defensive line or RB

    Melancholy Puppy

Thats not easy to find. If they wanted they could find an undervalued prospect like ross cockrel in the 4th round.

Melancholy Puppy

DL is a must needed to replace

Team Time Riders

Bucs have the distinct ability to pick the best player available on the board rather than for a position in which there is a pressing need. Injuries were a huge problem last year so Pick for the defense so you can have depth.

    Lo Bello

Then we wouldn’t be picking the best player available. Their is no linebacker or D line 1st round talent in this draft. Any other year they would go into the 3rd 4th and 5th

    Team Time Riders

@Lo Bello I meant that pick the best player you can get at that spot. Tom brought the “next man up” mentality to Tampa. You got a guy like keyshawn Vaughn waiting in the wings to do some serious damage. If the best guy is a rb or wr then take him, especially if he’s like Justin Jefferson.

ponce

1 round for Bucs i would like a Edge because we have no depth after Barret and JP. Or a top tier corner.

    Lo Bello

Their is no 1st round talent on the edge buddy. Besides a few corners that will already be gone all these defensive guys would be 5th rounders any other year so it wouldn’t be an intelligent move to draft a 4th 5th round talent in the 1st

Tom

Etienne comes with fumble issues and no pass blocking.

MovieIdiot

Trade away the 1st round pick for a 1st in 2022 or 2023 and a later round pick in this draft. Enjoying life with Brady but he won’t play forever. When it’s time to draft a QB either in 2022 or 2023 it will be much needed to have that double 1st round picks if Bucs want to trade up for a QB.

    Antonio Orellana

the 2022 qb class is meh, if they want to draft a qb this is the best class but ill not get one in the first round. Maybe in the 2nd or 3rd draft, a solid qb with good mechanics but that needs some extra time to have it learn from Brady. If the bucks get lucky maybe Kyle Trask from Florida, similar style to Brady pocket passer. Get some depth in the running game with the first pick because it’s always good to put a fresh guy for that extra punch when needed. But if they could trade their first-round for an earlier round 2 pick and something else that’s a sweet deal.

    MovieIdiot

@Antonio Orellana Is it unrealistic to see Mac Jones fall down? Could be a fit if he is reachable and it would do him good to back up Brady for 1-2 years.

    Antonio Orellana

@MovieIdiot i don’t think Mac Jones is gonna be there for us also I have some concerns regarding him already reaching his skill ceiling. Also, he was Tuga 2nd and Tuga is not doing so good at Miami. I think Trask stock plummeted very fast after he played that game without any of his receivers so he will be a steal to grab in the end of the 2nd. Usually, people make a big fuss about the top 5 qb and they are gone by the 15th pick but then the rest of the qb go 2dn 3rd 4th round. I mean in mac jones is there in the second get him, and save the first round to get some depth.

    MovieIdiot

@Antonio Orellana Brady was seventh on the depth chart at the start of his college career. So while I get your point and think it could be concerning, it doesn’t have to be a given. Tua and Mac is quite different and some players do absolutely great in college and then fail in the NFL like Tim Tebow. But I hear your concerns and I agree that Bucs at least shouldn’t trade up to get him. Macs receivers in college was overpowered after all. Trask is as you said also interesting.

    Antonio Orellana

@MovieIdiot thank you. Yea if we can get him ill be happy but I don’t think a trade-up is the move. However, I still believe we should get a qb in this draft sins the only qb in the team right now is Tom

terry7907

It would have been a better presentation if you had left the mock choices on screen throughout the explanations.

Lo Bello

Kyle pitts is a beast but I don’t think he goes before jamar chase

Naresh Kannan

To those people who saying we should draft defense player i heard from some people this is not good in defense draft class so we should probably take best player available than taking defense. Also next year Rojo hitting free agency & we still developing Vaughn so it’s good idea to pick a RB in 1st round.

    Melancholy Puppy

Way too many undrafted talents at RB and in rounds 4-7 that end up starting. Or better than first round talents. Kamara was 3rd round and CMC was 8th overall. Chiefs just took a RB and it didnt help them in the long run

Mark Douglas

Iowa DL Nixon. Pick #32. Do it.

Mark Douglas

Gtfoh with a RB to sit on the bench.

    Mason Dixit

He definitely wouldn’t sit on the bench bro

    Mark Douglas

@Mason Dixit Yes he would. There’s 3 ahead of him on the roster.

Zander Brockman

As a bengals fan I love to see that bucs have 120k subs and bengals have 14.4K 😂

Rob K

Yeah I remember a tight end coming out of college that was supposed to be the next best thing. He happens to play for the bucs. Hopefully this is his year to show everyone why he was picked so high

Jean David Nau

If there’s no d-line talent, then go o-line. Duh.
