Idc what anyone says: This QB class is just on another level, I’ve never seen something like this before. Last year Burrow was the only safe thing. The year before that it was Murray. 2018 there wasn’t a single one, we didn’t even know who Cleveland would pick at #1. The years before that we didn’t have any clear stand outs as well.
This year we have Lawrence and Wilson who are both safe stars to me. We also have Fields who is right next to those two. Jones might not have the upside, but he’s still a lot more polished than many prospects from the previous years. Lance is the only true project that might fail, but he still has extreme upside.

How is Wilson more of a lock than Allen was. They’re literally in the exact same position. The only difference is teams drafting higher need QBs. Wilson is not a lock, If Allen comes out this year he’s a #2 pick. Wilson is a huge risk of a play. He has not faced pressure and plays in a run and shoot offense
@All Alone So you actually think Allen would be #2 in this draft, when he only was QB3 in the 2018 draft? By that logic Darnold and Baker would also be above Fields and Wilson, which is just stupid. Did you actually follow the 2018 draft or do you just say that stuff in retrospective? Allen was extremely raw coming out of college, had tremendous upside but still needed a lot of work. Not many people had him as the #1 prospect in his class, while Lawrence, Wilson and Fields are at the top for many experts. He compares better to Lance.

I have to respectfully disagree, as Trevor Lawrence has way better iq. And he’s 6’6. And he’s mobile if needed. Dudes the best qb overall for sure.

@Max Jones Pennington had a noodle arm. Fields has a below average arm. Not mutually exclusive. Just because you name-dropped one of the weakest-armed QB in NFL history doesn’t change the fact that Fields’ arm is merely adequate and below average.
Fields will be way better in the NFL than Dwayne Haskins is. Fields is more confident throwing the ball and he is much more of a leader than Haskins was.

Play style aside, he hired the same toxic agent as Haskins and DeShaun Watson, so that’s a red flag.
He also has better work ethic than Haskins and doesn’t take selfies with fans before the games over.

He also took heat recently for implying Watson’s accusers should be jailed before spinning his statement on the use of comma. He also used to be Haskins’ agent and publicly tried to smear Ron Rivera and the entire Washington organization as racist for benching Trashkins. He is Jalen Ramsey and Earl Thomas’ agent. The list goes on.
