Idgaf what u say, marqueese brown put on 23 pounds in 2 months, smith wont have a problem bulking up a bit. Smith is just the best route runner in college in the last few years hands down. And aside from solid hands, that’s the number 1 thing u need in a wr.
@Sant viento Serious scouts don’t have him as their top choice at WR for a reason. There’s never been a WR this skinny since the 70s. Desean Jackson was shorter which means he was bigger proportionally, but he was a burner. Either Smith changes the game and proves to everyone that you can be frail and play in the pros or, more likely, he gets a harsh wake-up call and never produces like he did in college. Only time will tell.

@Mrsamuraij He threw a few balls close to 60 yards here. While it’s not elite arm strength, that’s a plenty adequate NFL arm. Players like Montana, Manning, Brees, Brady, Young, Rivers and many more Hall of Famers got by with just an adequate NFL arm. Get off of this lazy argument.

I guess he got faster because even Mac Jones couldn’t keep up. Dude probably runs a 4.4 flat and his knock was always he doesn’t run as fast as his peers. “He’s the guy with good hands.” But he’s 5 yards open every time.

Najee runs around 4.5 but dang Devonte is just gliding down the field and his releases are so fast and precise, no wasted movement.

Without pads you can truly see how Devonta was able to get so open when the cameras were off of him during a play. That open field speed is just insane.
