Draft all defense and one offense lineman, maybe trade or pick up a veteran corner, sign dak, we will probably have to get rid of some players though

Most important of all, we NEED to sign Dak. He is really important

It’s obvious we need help on defense. But really how much? These are the same players on the roster from the year before this season and they played a lot better two years ago. The biggest thing that changed was the defensive coaching staff. So is it the players or the coaches? I say coaches. Let’s give this new staff a chance. These players are better than what they gave on the field this year and we all know that. Again, I have to blame the coaches.
But all that being said we do need some serious help at the DT position. Can’t blame coaching for McCoy getting hurt or Poe just not being any good anymore.

Why is E-V-E-R-Y yr a prove it yr for Prescott ?
And if so….
Why is it that Dak’s our guy, (via JJ/SJ since Dak’s rookie season),
This is why fans and outsiders alike don’t believe Jerry and Steven are sold on Dak
Their actions haven’t lined up with their profession’s about locking him up
BIG REASON…..
They also broadcast “We sign who they we like/want to sign”…..Mic drop 🎤👐
And I’m a Dak-Supporter

Each move of the goalposts have been breeched by Prescott’s continuing to progress
The bar gets raised…He makes it
He continues to defy all the odds and doubts and critiques about him

ACTUALLY Dallas has held themselves hostage by tying up unnecessary funds for Dak while the price continues to rise
That approach don’t work even in the oil business
What’s REALLY going on here ?
Self-sabotaging ?
Other owners blackmailing Jerry and making him be a sellout ?
His most trusted advisors selling him out ?
I mean really…..

Concerning my brother Wentz…
We’ve yet to see him on the big stage, (playoffs) successfully
The same bar Dak is critiqued about winning playoffs, (which btw he has), exists even moreso for Carson

How can we honestly expect him to take over a playoff game since he’s regressed so much already ?

I mean
If drafting a QB instead of weapons for him rattled him and caused this unravelling….
Why didn’t it stop ARod ?
Yet instead,
Aaron went out and won MVP….
While Wentz got benched
That’s a definite measuring point of character differences of those who rude above vs those who crumble under pressure

Now Wentz at best will prove HE’S really y the one who needs E-V-E-R-Ything to be perfect around him

Nick fitted better in that system than Wentz period
The following yr proved that because they were just above water the season following the SB run at what ? 5 & 6 ? before Foles got them to the playoffs ?
And as it goes had not his receiver dropped that pass Foles likely would’ve won that playoff game and advanced them as well

The entire picture doesn’t favor Wentz as worthy
Hopefully my brother gets it turned around

Think about two years ago when t they beat dallas with out wide receiver and beat.up defense

We may have the best Qb in the division, but we have the worst defense, 3rd best coach a owner who pays the wrong people and an over all team that has no heart or mental toughness. We could not beat philly with Dak and the number one offense when philly was beat up and with no receivers. This year the most important game for us, (2nd Giants) we could not play with some sense of urgency or motivation. This team has too many issues for Dak to overcome. We are not winning a super bowl in the next 3 or 4 years. The divison means nothing, playoff means nothing, its all about the super bowl.

That’s a horrible argument. The division has been bad the last two years and the cowboys missed the playoffs the last two years.

If cowboys were a sitcom then they are seinfeld show because they are about nothing

Goff and Wentz getting traded is proof that Cowboys did the right thing holding off signing Dak to a big contract.

3 year window? Zach Martin and Tryan Smith won’t last 3 more years

Greetings an well wishes Gentlemen. First off, I’ve asked several Cowboy podcast’s this question and have not received the answer. If Dak is signed to a long term contract as many fans are in favor of. Is he guaranteed the money if his ankle does not heal 100% or is severely hurt again? Am I the only person that worries about Dak recovering from his gruesome injury. We haven’t seen Dak walk, jog, run, cut, jump or for that matter get sacked or someone landing on that ankle. Is that a tremendous risk for the front office to accept. Everyone says Daks ankle will be fine, REALLY?

If Dallas doesn’t sign Dak, then it’s clear they never believed in him and if that’s the case, why in the hell did they Draft him? Because he wasn’t the 1st Pick in the Draft you won’t sign him to a contract unless he gives us a break on the price? (And he’s already given us 4 years on the cheap).
Newey makes great points. Sign Dak to a 3 year deal and build the D and reinforce the OL. Then, like Newer says, let’s see what we can get done! I would think Dallas would LOVE this idea since it will let them see him get better every year through his work ethic, which is a trait that’s gotten him from a backup QB at Ole Miss to a 4 year starter of The Dallas Cowboys, made the Playoffs 2 of the 4 years. Man, what else do they want?

Can we sign Dak. Revise the contract of Amari Cooper and Martin. Get a safety and a corner. Go in the draft and get the corner or the Tackle if available
