Mahomes was playing his heart out but his receivers were not even in the same building. As for his offensive line, I never thought I would ever see the day with him having to run for his life every other play. Must have run for over a hundred backward, Smh. I’m so glad I’m not a Chiefs fan, that must have been brutal to watch.
I wouldn’t put all the blame on the receivers. The Bucs were able to pressure Mahomes with only 4 pass rushers; that left more personals open to cover the receivers. No matter how good you are, it’s always harder to catch the ball under pressure.
He actually ran 400+ yards backwards
We all can credit Tom Brady and that Buccaneers offense all we want, but let’s also give credit to Todd Bowles and his defense a ton of credit for making things uncomfortable for Pat Mahomes
