When you have a player demanding a trade and you keep them on the roster anyway, you kind of have to wonder if you’ll ever get peak effort again. Like, I could dive for that 1st down but I’d rather step out instead and save myself for the next team. I could try to stand in the pocket and wait for my deep option to open up but you know I’d rather dump the ball off quick so I don’t get hit. I could play through a minor injury that most guys would just tape and go… but man it kinda hurts and the backup does look bored today.
