Yeah Doug was nervous at his press conferences his entire first year and he actually seemed visibly uncomfortable. We know what happened next.
it looks like this guys head was just spinning a little and moving too fast (understandable) but it didn’t seem to be actively bothering him or making him come off legitimately awkward. Some of Doug’s early PCs were bruutal

Really don’t think Boston or Chicago are harder media towns than Philly. Not saying Philly is a bigger market, but I doubt you could find a coach or a player who would rather deal with Philly media over Boston or Chicago. Also not saying this is a good thing, or should be a point of pride.

He needs to learn how to catch better. He is a stud, but he drops many passes. I heard people get on Carson about that, but he dropped it, then it continued with Hurts. So IDK could have just got in his head. He deserves an “Ok that was an aberation” Just like Caron does, and just like Doug should have. But IDK what Dougs personal plans were so we can speculate, but we dont know. PPl say it was carson, we dont know that, ppl say he wanted to retire, we dont know that. PPl in philly are outspoken thats who we ae, but we sometimes have to step back and say hey this was a bad stretch. Andif you look at the bad stretch, the injuries from 18,19,and 20 was too much. Time to move on, although Id like Doug to be here, it wasnt meant to be.
