You telling me if one of these team with 60mil in cap space offers him $18mil/yr over 5 years, and we’re offering $10mil, Gallups just gonna take the hit. No way, and I don’t blame him. Plus, if we re-sign Dak, he’s gonna eat most our cap space.

@Eric Kelske We’ll get at best a 3rd round comp pick for him, which is really an early 4th. I’d make the starting price a 2nd round pick. I’d rather have 4 rookie years of a 2nd round pick than 1 year of Gallup + a 4th round pick. Take the kid from Purdue, and move CeeDee outside.

@QB The King because the OLine took a nosedive and everyone pouted when Dak got hurt. Dak had a 8-8 season last year and only won against losing teams, this year before the injury he was in the losing category. He passes for alot of yards but it doesn’t translate into wins. So everyone wants to cut him a big check and put the team into a cap problem…..i say wait, see how this ankle plays out. Everyone was yelling pay Zeke, and Jerry did….we see how that turned out. Jerry should have left Zeke in Cabo, his contract wasnt even up, and played Pollard. Jerry is a horrible negotiator. He should keep his mouth shut and hold his cards close.

@smoothy that would help. Jerry should rethink the mega contracts and clean up some holes on both sides, not everyone can get the big payday. Hopefully they can get something done, ive been a fan since the Walt Garrison days and put up with mess from my oilers fan family for years. Take care

He’s on the last year of his contract, and we are not going to re-sign him. If someone would give us a 2nd or better, im ok. Anything less isn’t worth it
