He’s definitely has grown. A few picks turned out to be terrible. But at least he didn’t hold on to players if they didn’t live up to their potential.

People tend to forget Jason was given an extension after last season ended and fans weren’t happy about it. What if we would’ve had a new GM, I don’t think we would’ve brought Brady in and the rest of the players. Thankful the owners gave him an extension.
Jason having come from The Patriots in the first place definitely helped.
Yes, this year would have been just Another mediocre season, like a 7-9 or an 8-8 year, then fallen off from there as that is the normal trend Throughout the NFL…!!

@None Ya He didn’t have a good team last year but they went 12-4 with Brady, this year they went 7-9 without him. You keep saying Pats got 6 rings when all of them were with Brady. All of Pats playoffs since 2002 have been with Brady. In 2008 Pats didn’t make the playoffs — the year Brady didn’t play. Now Brady is in the Super Bowl with a whole new team in. The common denominator here seems to be Tom Brady.

Without gronk I say they lose agasint Washington or saints. He absolutely bullied sweat. Young and Cameron Jordan. He only gave up 1 sack on 3 games where he’s blocked at least 70% of his snaps.
Yeah, he is such an incredible blocker. I still want him to catch a TD pass in the Super Bowl for history’s sake but Tom not getting sacked is THE most important stat. Tom has NEVER lost in games when he isn’t sacked in 20 years. That stat is unbelievably important.

The man is a veteran of 9 of these games and you better believe that these boys are going to soak up the experience he brings to the table. If they play 60 minutes of the hardest football of their life and leave everything out on the field, they will have nothing to be ashamed of.

At this point the season seems to be a total success to me, regardless of the outcome next week. I’m not saying I don’t care, but I think it’s mentally healthy to just recognize what you did right and not let disappointment delete it. This is the finals, not the semis or the quarters. The team has accomplished, especially given the circumstances for a first year team.
Jason seems pretty impressive, didn’t realize he was with the Patriots as Director of Player Personnel.
