@fina you are right he isn’t. but brining in a new qb right now would put them in the same situation darnold is in. we need to build up a solid team first. darnold has had zero chance to prove himself and with a better team he could be solid like a goff or carr
@Sam Keegan new hc, better oc and dc, and we can finally see mims evolve as a good reciever, he has the potential its just sam hardly looked his way. he was wide open if u watch the film and he can be a really good wr especially if we pair him up with someone like kardarious toney out of florida with our seattle pick. if we also can get thuney from fa and trey smith from our 2nd then we can draft wilson with 2 and have a stable o line and 3 reliable targets (toney, mims, crowder)
@fina i agree 100% i think crowder perriman and mims are very good. the issue is the line still. darnold is yet to develop as a pure passer and a better line would help him do so. drafting sewell would give him a top 5 tackle duo in the league. which would allow him to scan the field for guys like mims

If the Jets keep Sam, then trade down…not worth picking a WR at 2 or Sewell.

Draft Wilson and the best interior linemen we can get with the Seahawks pick. I like DeShaun, but our roster is simply too awful right now.
We need every pick, and if JD thinks Wilson/Fields is a Franchise QB, he needs to draft them & continue fixing the rest of this roster
