Once they figure out a stable spot for Jaylon Smith, he’ll be more comfortable on our defense. Dan Quinn developed Deion Jones so there’s hope. LVE needs to stay healthy so that Jaylon doesn’t have to play out of position again. Maybe a young linebacker would do good in the draft or free agency

No expert, just a fan here but I like us sitting on that #10 draft spot. I bet one of those top 10 defensive players will fall.
I really would like us to come away with a top 10 defensive player in the first round. Surtain II could really help us.

I’m sorry I think the d line is at least a good 1 tech away. Last year you played 3 techs in that spot after Poe got cut. Woods and Hamilton are the only true 1 techs and they are ok rotation guys but you need a run stopping stud. If you look at our best run defense years over last handful they have been when we have had a comparable 1 tech.
