TJ, Xavien, Donald, you can’t really go wrong for DPOY. I’m a Dolphins fan and I fully think T.J deserves credit for this season.
@Daniel Coronado ok tackles are agile and he gets doubled on 60%+ of snaps and his pass coverage is decent for a linebacker, put TJ 1 on 1 every time he’d beat the record for pressure rate, qb hits, sacks, and tackles for loss, Donald is a great player one of the best but Watt had the better season sorry

@Lexi Mccready thats just not true Tuitt and Hayward get doubled more than TJ if AD had them he would break the singles season sack record plus comparing and edges stats to an interior lineman is dumb because AD gets blocked by 2 lineman while a double for Watt is a Te and Tackle or a chip by a back ask anybody who actually plays in the league and they would say Donald
@Jackson Scott tJ watt gets doubled team 60 percent of the time he rushes and he drops back in coverage. At the end of the day all u have is the triple team argument, u disregard the fact he drops in coverage ( which he’s also really good at). At the end of the statistics don’t prove ur case at all. And btw a 235 pound man is smoking three hundred pound tackles, and massive TEs. People like u just always downplay him. The man is just an all around beast.

@Zo’s Reactions it’s quite clear you made the play offs because of schedule. 3 teams in your division made the play offs because you played the god awful nfc east, the afc south (Jags and Texans are free wins), Broncos are horrible and then the Bengals twice. That was 9 easy wins off the bat, not to mention you actually lost to one of the horrid NFC East. You had it easy and got found out in the play offs for not being a good team.

I know Statistics aren’t everything, but at some point people have to admit that TJ Watt had more Sacks, QB Hits, Tackles, Tackles For Loss, and a higher Pressure Rate than Aaron Donald.

How do idiots keep confusing this… do you guys not know football? If a WR has 1200 receiving yards and 10 receiving TDs is his season not more impressive than a RB with 1250 total yards (rushing and receiving) and 11 total TDs? Certain positions dont put up comparable stats to other (although similar) positions. Donald is a fckn DT/interior D lineman. TJ is an edge rusher… look at the top 5 edge rushers and look at the top 5 DTs and tell me is there a larger gap between Donald and his peers or TJ and his?
TJ Watt is the player the Steelers will build around. Everything starts with him. Pittsburgh needs to draft better Running Backs on offense so Big Ben can not throw it 50 times a game.
It’s not the rbs, it’s more of the o line. They don’t generate enough push. They’re not the best rb group, but it’s more complicated then that
