Yeah, Rivers really outplayed Allen statwise.

No,,,, stat wise Rivers did not out play Allen. Look at those stats u talking about. Both offenses were good timely drops , sacks and defense doesn’t work at the right time. Good game you guys will be in playoffs nxt yr

@It’s Me As a Colts fan, no Philip didn’t outplay Josh. He played VERY well for his age, and he played well enough to win the game, but Josh Allen is better, and he played better.

@Matt Davis allen had about 15 passing yards more . It wasnt that much better the 8 drops and one wide open touchdown drop by pitman would put rivers around 350 yards 3 touchdowns and make his rating over 100 and over 65 completion percentage.

11-5 first year on a new team, second time around I believe he goes all the way!!!

@Andy Dorant II I wouldn’t say the defense alone cost us, but you could argue that that single offsides was a complete bonehead play during a time when you knew Bills were not going for it, that turned into 7 points because of that offsides on 4th&3. But I’d argue it was coaching and chip shot FG which cost us more.

Defense didn’t cost you guys. Dropped passes and going for 2 pointers when it wasn’t necessary AND STILL be in it. You guys got a GREAT team. All things considered – the no call fumble and should have 5 delay of game penalities. Great game I would have Rivers come back and snag 1 in draft that can sit behind rivers.

I like Frank Reich as a coach but he tried to play like KC and it back fired. Instead of going for it on 4th and goal, he should’ve scored a TD.

Instead of going for 2 points, should’ve just gone for the guarantee 1 pt.

Damn, could’ve won. That missed FG not Frank Riechs fault but those points would’ve had Colts pull a W.

Colts would’ve won if the play calling didn’t fall into Buffalo’s trap.

Colts thought they had to go for it on 4th and goal early on in the game because buffalos usually scores 30pts per game.

Hate how kickers always choke in key plays. 3pts would’ve made a huge difference. And Frank Reich should’ve gone for a FG on 4th and goal instead of going for it.

I’m a Bills fan and I really hope he stays in the NFL! That was a good game, nail biter at the end, I was shaking but yea, Sad seeing these legends retire. I mean the usual time a player stays in the NFL is 10 yrs so.

By all means I love Philip Rivers but the Colts literally don’t run outside stretches because he’s not athletic enough to hand the ball off. He’s such a good guy and he plays his heart out but I’m sorry, we need a more mobile QB

@One Buffalo I spoke about situations, which is what everyone does after a game. Those were not even analytical calls those were simply bad calls in those situations. Obviously after you make 1 change in time, it changes everything else going forward, but that doesn’t ever stop anyone from having a hypothetical conversations does it? What should we talk about then when reflecting on the game… oh I guess without being allowed to talk situations during the game or details all we have left is… win/loss. good talk then I guess lol. Everyone knows people always talk about points left on the field, and it’s obvious the Colts left on 4 points based on terrible play calling in the red zone.

You wouldnt have gone for 2 the second time if you werent down 8 which you only were bc of the first miss.

Also if you acknowledge that then you cant say “we would have won 28-27” given you just admitted the entire game would have been different.

@pauly233 if the colts make the 20 yard field goal the fumble doesnt matter the bills would have 12 seconds with 0 time outs to go 40 yards . the touchdown drop offsides and missed field goal is 17 point swing . if the colts didnt choke they would have easily won lets be real . colts are a young team and their young players made mistake all the mistakes were made by rookies and 2nd year players . rookie kicker choked

I have always been a huge Rivers fan I always loved the trash talk and his passion for the game. But I never really watched interviews and such until this year when he’s playing for my colts. Peyton will always be my favorite QB (obviously lol) but if I could go back to 2012 when the Luck era started and trade luck for rivers and have had rivers for the last 9 years, I would do that in a heartbeat. Although I guess Phil woulda been absolutely obliterated to pieces behind our O line from 12-16
