@DBfan116 Honestly I am with Casey on his point. Name one option that is better than lock, but consider that you would have to play 20 million more per year, and if you still want Von, Simmons, Harris, and eventually Sutton you cant waste that 20 extra million. If Lock keeps going on the progressive route that he is on, he will be a good, cheap, QB.
Thankfully Elway is not the GM anymore. Now cut Lock, trade Von and let’s rebuild this the right way.

It clear there is some concern in Drews tone about his job. Competition will push him to work harder than ever. Hopefully during offseason he will continue to improve and polish his skill set. Not saying he is not the guy but we dont have time to have patience and wait for his development like what most everyone is suggesting. He has not earned nor deserved that time. It is time for him to fight for everything and it looks like he may take that path. If not we need a plan B option with this talented roster. Hopefully that fire is lit. Sure sounds like it as he addressed many of our concerns. Does he have the talent? Absolutely. It time to put it all together or move on
Check out Josh Allen. If he had his rookie season from Buffalo in Denver he would’ve been driven outta town and lock and better stats over his first 16 start then Allen!! If you look over past history he’s statistically had a great first 16 game stretch. So we all need to give this young offense the time it deserves to develop since they missed over 1400 reps this off season and with being so young with a new offense it sucked yes. Patience people.

With being such a young offense and not having much of an off season of course we were going to struggle this year. Amazing work by fangio and staff through the mountain of injuries 👏 Reps are huge keep working Drew just have patience!

He didn’t have time this off-season to work on getting better with Pat’s scheme for cover 2 with having such a limited time frame and they decided to focus on what he was successful with. Over his first q6 career games he’s been very successful statistically better than the likes of Josh Allen Payton Manning etc so tell me where are we wrong with patience?
LET HM GROW and progress. Everyone is too quick to judge and make statements when there is an anomaly like Mahomes in the division. Drew has a great attitude and he will be the future of the franchise with the right coaching. He has a special character.
When you look at consistency….keeping the same players and coaches is part of that. We have some great players and we need to stay the course.
