Going from from one of the MOST DERIDED player on the team peaking in his 3rd year (Munchak’s 1st season with him) to one of the more respected players on the team in his 4th (Munchak’s 2nd with him) with a NEW CONTRACT, PROVES that this team is in DESPERATE NEED of CONTINUITY!
IF this team is in this same position, at this same time, next year… THEN breaking out the pitchforks for Shurmur will be acceptable.
