PAC

He has a bright future ahead. MIA just has to get him a couple more OL, 1 big WR and some DL. He can make certain throws already. Most importantly MIA coaching staff has to trust me fully because in my opinion they didn’t fully trust him when they starting taking him out when he didn’t play well. He’ll learn and he will improve.

    Rick Astley

yes im glad they kept him in the game this is a learning expireance for him

    miami sports fan

miami aint need dline they need a LB in the middle, RB is also important

    Ebrahim Tariq

If they add Devonta Smith(they have the 4th overall, they traded) this phins team will be loaded and make a fun season to watch and a potential deap playoff run

    Rick Astley

    @Ebrahim Tariq 3rd actully

SW Productions

Please give him a better OC and receiving core

    seamus blackwell

@Dean simmons but to get better he also needs a better oc and receiving core as well. The two go hand in hand

    SW Productions

@Dean simmons Fitz didn’t even play today. Plus, Gailey opens up the playbook more when Fitz is QB. He’s super conservative when Tua is in and mostly has him throw screens, slants, and check-downs. He’s doing a horrible job at developing him and is not a good OC at all. Tua didn’t play great today but his receivers were also dropping open passes all game which isn’t his fault

    Humble Warrior

@Dean simmons so a 16 yr vet whose clearly comfortable and a rookie mmmmmm not to mention the atmosphere is a lot different when Fitz plays vs Tua but u and a lot other ppl wanna pin them against one another

    Humble Warrior

@SW Productions thank u 11 to be exact which if completed Tua has 46 completions. Which is crazy to think he attempted 58 passes today which says what his running backs couldn’t get nothing because of what? The bad O-line play

    Cooper Shoaf

@Dean simmons tua is not the same type of passer as fitz the team is built for fitz

Chris vanover

Hopefully he gets better in his sophomore year

Jayr23s

Bruh idk why yall hating on Tua. Herbert straight has more opportunities to throw the deep/mid ball in one game than Tua throughout the season😂

    Venom

@Cyrus E. Farsad I guess his career highlights at Alabama just go right over your head huh? His sophomore year was nothing but deep balls. Also remember 2 and 26? Duhhh

    Twan John Jr.

Yea the talent gap is not even close though… Herbert is bigger, stronger, faster, more athletic & has a cannon of an arm. Didn’t even mention how shockingly accurate he was & how quickly he was able to read NFL defenses. Tua was more adorable idt that counts for much though.

    Raynold Mezini

@Big Daddy Rikka so lemme get this straight. tua is being misused has no weapons yet ryan fitzpatrick made him look bad with the same weapons. also daniel jones has about 2 secs to throw how do you expect him in 2 years to have tom brady/aaron rodgers type savviness . if u are gonna call dj trash than call tua trash too dont blindly hate (fyi i think both can get better dj has a slightly higher ceiling due to superior athletic ability)

    Big Daddy Rikka

@Raynold Mezini Ryan Fitzpatrick is a 16 year vet with a huge wealth of experience and playoff experience. Fitz has never been bad, he’s always just been inconsistent. In spurts he’ll have MVP games but he never keeps it up. He’s done it in NY, Tampa, Miami, etc. Tua is a kid who didn’t even have OTA’s and wasn’t given the opportunity to start till the middle of the season and got some of the most vanilla play calling you can give. Yet for the most part he played alright. DJ has had a while to figure it out and hasn’t even showed that many glimpses of brilliance. He’s athletic but so is just about every man who plays in the NFL in some capacity. Does the coaching staff he’s had before Judge really help anything? No. But still, he hasn’t proven he’s worth a 2nd contract in the slightest. So yea, DJ is trash. If tua plays like this in the coming years being the starter going in, then he’ll get the trash label. Generally it takes a QB if you look at patterns, 2-3 years to show you what they are.

    Lucas Darnley

But when tua does it’s picked dropped off no where near the target

Justin Brown

🙏🏾✝️

matthew davis

I’ve never seen a rookie QB get this much hate before like god damn this man only played 9 games 12 months off a possible career ending injury throwing to a bunch of GameStop employees let see a full offseason for this man who’s not learning how to walk again and actually working out with WRS that can actually catch a ball lol

    matthew davis

@Robert Cocker people who shouldn’t be starting on a NFL roster to put it short

    bos space

Tua is unique and not what ppl used to seeing. They doubting cuz they want to see this young man fail and laugh. But he gon be on that beast mode next year you can tell

    Bobby O'Hara

The hate from outsiders is whatever. The hate from Miami fans and their cesspool of reporters is sickening. As a fan of the team this season made me lose a ton of respect for our fanbase. They are some of the most impatient, unintelligent and downright annoying fans I’ve ever dealt with. Never seen such unwarranted hate for a guy who quite frankly is such an inspiring athlete.

    bos space

@Bobby O’Hara Sure. People root for athletes they like. Brady, Tebow, Tua. When it comes to who’s good vs. not, that’s straightforward. Mahomes, Wilson, Brady, the greats a lot of times are good in their first two seasons. Darnold, Daniel Jones, Haskins, Rosen – all high picks with super shaky (if any) futures. The new NFL – you got 3 seasons to prove yourself or else your out. That’s the Trubisky standard. If the Dolphins didn’t have a top 5 pick, it’d be Tua for sure. Now they need to consider what to do.. Tua’s had haters since college tho, he’s our Lamar Jackson hahaha

    Warrior-of-Love 43

Gamestop is a understatement, more like block buster 🤣😂

Rick Astley

its such a shame to see how dolphins fans are calling their own rookie qb a bust. im a phins fan and just sad very dissapointing

edit: also preston williams was out since week 9

    paleface8

It doesn’t take a genius to see Tua is in over his head ! Take the rookie money and run ! Miami fans were scammed on this pic ! I don’t watch college ball , so I had no preconceived notions about him but rookie or not – he is a nfl bust or scam

    Gravity Gaming

@paleface8 bro what are you talking about😂💀

    Caden Kestler

I know! It is frickin stupid!

    Nahum Valcin

Williams been a great weapon n I think Tua loves tht guy even tho he dropped some catchable catches

    Gravity Gaming

@Nahum Valcin Preston Williams would’ve helped out a lot

Ricardo Masvidal

Im happy about our future in Miami. We need to get him a running back and I think we will be way better next season

    Rishi Reddy

Gaskin is amazing but najee will help us better in the long run and future.

    Randyk_18

@Eli Knight Nah you’re just an ignorant clown. 🤔

    Lucas Darnley

Tua trashovailoa is not good he sucks granted his receivers did drop anything in proximity of them but some of tua’s throws are no where near their target and you can’t win games if all you do is throw dinky little swing routes out of the backfield sorry fins fans but fitz can’t bail you out forever

    Randyk_18

@Lucas Darnley You’re an absolute moron.

Adad Reznor

I think Tua needs a playmaker

    Nick Mangi

    Ya THINK!!?!?

    Lucas Darnley

Davante Parker mike gesiki are already playmakers you need an o line and probably a 2 and 3 receiver

Napalm Blaziken

I’m gonna wait till after the next few seasons before deciding whether or not he’s the franchise QB. Rookie season isn’t indicative of how the rest of the career will go.

    Ernesto Gastelum

Spot on, I’m a Chargers fan and I’m proud on what Justin Herbert did this season but you dont know how well hes going to play in the next couple of seasons

    TMONEY1943

@Ernesto Gastelum thank you for being a respectable chargers fan. Proof that we CAN coexist 😂😂

Michael

Lol I bet when tua get a real receiver hopefully devante smith watch all the people calling him a bust look goofy

    EmiGzz8a

@Rick Astley I think we should draft a LB with that pick. And maybe draft him second round if he falls. If we sign Aaron Jones I don’t think we should take him in the first

    KAEP

@EmiGzz8a, I think that offense is the biggest of our worries right now, I would take Najee or any LB

    SpiderBoyCW

devante parker is a great receiver and so is gesicki but he is a tight end he just needs to find them more, yesterday Isaiah Ford couldn’t catch hes one of the goofy wr for sure

    Rick Astley

@SpiderBoyCW i say cut ford he had a good week 2 but that was it

    SpiderBoyCW

@Rick Astley true now that we have the 3rd draft pick i feel we can get a wide receiver or a running back like travis etteine

Sebatnt

Qb1❤️

Binyurmin Kurp

Skipped half of the highlights

Heeman5

Gotta get him some receivers that can catch a football!!

    Esther Goy

    right!!!

    Mr.curlyhair _gang

    Real talk tho!

Lions echo

when I look at this I see major potential

AbelFrost

No way I’m giving up on the kid yet, he wasn’t even expected to play a full season if at all. This team still needs missing pieces, especially on the offensive side. We need more depth in our O-Line, especially for run blocks, I think a new OC should be considered as well, but what stands out most is Tua needs weapons that are going to be consistent. I like our 3 TE’s, especially Gesicki who has emerged, but I can careless if we get rid of our whole receiving core. Keep Parker (although he can be very injury prone), keep Perry (can become a viable swiss army knife type player, on a rookie contract still) there are other players who are “decent” but not consistent enough with their playmaking ability or healthy to stay on the field. I like Preston (his nickname is cool if he could apply it more on the field) I like Grant, but its time to move on. An ugly ending, but it was a better season than expected.

Mark Yamanaka

Some of y’all expectations are beyond High! Remember the dolphins record last season? 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 Great rookie season Tua 🤙🏽

    Caden Kestler

    Agreed

    Rick Astley

@Caden Kestler yes very much agreed next year he will prove he is great phins up! if we draft sewell and if harris or waddle or smith is on the board, take one of those and sign a few people and we could be 11-5 or 12-4 as our celling

    Yeeet Peeet

Dude got benched like 8 times lol

    Mark Yamanaka

@Yeeet Peeet it’s all in Flores’ plan bro 😎

Slick Videos

Tua is good we need to built around him he can throw and will be good I see his highest ceiling being a drew brees. He needs a solid receiver core. Miami need development coaches

    Raynold Mezini

hes aight . his throws seem hella slow but accurate . his athleticism seems average at best (i know hip surgery and all) . he is a first round talent i just don’t see him in the same class as burrow or herbert imo . at this point him being picked at 5 seems a very slight reach

Tuan Tran

Tua played with basically no weapons and 3 rookies on the Oline. watch next year when miami draft either chase or smith, will shut the haters up

    Caden Kestler

Imagine parker williams gesicki and devonta smith! Dang that would be good!

    Rick Astley

@Caden Kestler people say cut williams but look how good tua looked in the cardnals game with preston in. they have a connection

    Michael Cammack

I’m hoping they sign Arob in the off-season and get Chase or Smith. And then get Harris in the late 1st or early 2nd round

Steve Saenz

I really love Tua just the pressure on him as a rook really took him since he went to Starter Future is bright in Miami!!
