Sad that he’s probably done for the Pats, but at least he went out on a high note

    Nightmare assassin

    @FortunateDegree facts

    Bom Trady

    That was a false report

    DTC Universal

@FortunateDegree that rams loss is fair but that browns one needs context to be honest

    scott2533

@FortunateDegree when did the Pats last play the Browns?

    FortunateDegree

    @scott2533 talking about the Jets

ItsRaid

I hope, that if we keep him he’ll improve as a passer, because he’s already a very solid rusher and I also like him as an overall guy!

    Bob Webber

@Falcons Fan13 bro no way cam has a better record with a much worse roster lol

    SamRay697

@its an apple no they drafting a QB most likely Mac Jones they ain’t gonna waste there time with Stidham

    Ethan Torbert

@Trevor Hembrough he improved as a passer the season he had his first big injury bruv it’s possible with the right coach

    Tim Wiesler

@Trevor Hembrough and he already improved as a passers, just not this season

    shiv mirani

@Falcons Fan13 Cam has a worse team and a better record whereas the panthers this season are better than the patriots roster wise. And yeah I’m a panthers fan so I know

Cian Farrell

Damn it man before he got covid he was actually doing ok

    THR33

    Ikr

    Atley white

    Regardless something bad woulda happened

    Jasser Regalado

    Yea COVID changed him

    Some Guy

It take at least 4 months for full covid recovery

    AmoneyDaDon

COVID ruined it for him I wish he never got it

pit141019

Hope this wasn’t the last game of cam

    DecorousGamer 85

@Jeff Sue I’m pretty sure that 50% completed more passes and has more td’s than Can

    S.M.

@Eric Greaux Everyone including the Pats passed on him until his stock plummeted to 1 million. He made 17 with Carolina the previous year.
No other team wants him. Bargain Bin Qb.

    Eric Greaux

@S.M. he was passed on because he was injured and nobody knew how’d he do. He’s shown that he still can at least perform a little. He may not be the best but I promise you he’s better than every back up in the league. Just watching any back up play and some of his better games you can see that.

    shiv mirani

@S.M. he was passed on cuz of injury concerns he has shown that he can stay healthy. Also the panthers let him go too late in FA after most teams had signed other QBs beforehand

    S.M.

@shiv mirani No not really. He was released in the 3rd week of March.

“After the Panthers announced Newton was free to seek a trade, the QB took to Twitter, posting a message directed at the front office that read, “Stop the word play!! I never asked for it!! There is no dodging this one; I love the Panthers to death and will always love you guys!! Please do not try and play me or manipulate the narrative and act like I wanted this: You forced me into this.”

Given the inevitable outcome of a Newton-Panthers breakup, it was not surprising that no teams were willing to trade for Newton.

Newton now becomes a free agent and can sign with another NFL team immediately.”

In other words he sat for 5 months before anyone signed him.

Eric Greaux

As a panthers fan I hope he can bring it back and be great but even if he doesn’t he has single handedly made my franchise relevant, is a good man, and I hope he finds success both in the league and after

Zen Namaste

I think this might be his last year. If so, an exciting player. 2015 Cam was one of the funnest MVP campaigns I can remember.

    JerryOne JonesSecond

    Either him or Patrick Mahomes

    Eric Greaux

Be said he’s open to being a back up. Considering most back ups are utter garbage he’ll be somewhere

connor miller

Just hate seeing Cam struggle so badly. This is what happens when you take a beating all these years. I just hope he can find a way to get back to himself but I highly doubt it.

    Blue Snow

He’s actually just not that good and he never was. He had 2 good years his entire career.

    Javien Boulware

@Blue Snow he’s in the NFL while you’re on your couch. he’s obviously a good player. still an MVP

    Blue Snow

@Javien Boulware He’s not a good player and really never has been. That’s why he’s done at 31.

    Zsniper23 Brownridge

@Blue Snow how did he only have two? Rookie of the year had 35tds (record) .. 2013 went 12-4 .. 2014 injuries derailed him but still went to playoffs 2015 mvp .. 2017 put the whole team on his back and carried to the playoffs .. 2018 was in mvp conversation again the first 8 games till he got hurt

Jared Michaud

We all wish the best for Cam!

Clippers Fan

Cam needs to prioritise getting 8 – 10 hours of sleep next year lol

shushanta Kc

COVID messed him up. He was doing good with no weapons

    Billy Bob

@Some Guy true but come on 8 TD passes in 15 games plus cam outside of 2015 has never really been a good QB

    Some Guy

@Billy Bob He was good in 2018 and he was injured for the rest of those years. 8Tds looks bad but that’s because they try to always run it inside instead of passing. I’ll agree that cam has looked awful at times this season but I believe he has potential to work in this system. I’d say he’s the second best short yardage passer after brady.

    Billy Bob

@Some Guy they need to move on from cam and get a young QB

    Pollo Gaming

@Billy Bob they need to draft a qb. Stidam isn’t the answer

    Billy Bob

@Pollo Gaming exactly I don’t understand why it’s so hard for patriot fans to accept that

Keith

0:07 did anyone else hear the Roblox “OOF”

Dewitt McDidditt

Cam Newton didn’t have a great season and might not even play next year, but it was really cool to see him starting games again. It’s not like it was all bad either, he’s had some fun games. His dual with Russell Wilson in Week 2 is still one of the best games of the season. Not to mention it’s pretty funny he beat both Kyler Murray AND Lamar Jackson, the two dual-threat QBs who’ve for all intents and purposes inherited his place in the league. Yeah, he didn’t have great numbers in those games, but still he did indeed beat the two players who most resemble his play style. Lol

    Nicki Sans7

Except both Lamar and Lyler are better in both rushing and passing, Newton just gets more tds

    Last Time

@Nicki Sans7 Cam is a better passer than lamar imo.

Cxmp _frostyz

I love cam Newton he’s my fav player of all time

Top Authority

He has so much fun playing.

Its Cupid

Cam one of my all time favorites I hope he gets back in his real form like the beginning of the year before the covid

Jackson Scrib

If this was cams only season with the pats thank you. although I feel they should give him one more season with some actual weapons. With that said if he stays can’t wait to see what happens next year.

the h_man

Give cam a preseason and some weapons and he would be better, I hope he comes back but if he doesn’t I wish him all the best!

Curtis 23

Get him 2 WR’s & a T.E

Tommy Casual

I think due to an off year, we can swing him on another low-cost incentive-heavy deal. We get our starters back, plus a decently high draft pick, and plenty of offensive talent on the way through free agency.

With starters coming back, Opt-Outs returning, and young guys taking the next step (Harris, Harry, Byrd, Meyers, Asiasi) you’ll see a Cam-led 11-13 win pats.

Calling it now.

A lot of the losses this time around felt directly tied to a lack of preseason, covid-opt outs, covid-absenses and injuries. Plus those two red zone stops against Buffalo and Seattle could have easily gone the other way.

I think, given how many bad things happened this year to this team, and in an increasingly competitive division, 7 wins is remarkable.

Im2GuD 89

I’d like to see how he’d do in Washington with Ron and Scott that’d be very interesting
