@Kaan Bayram Jones didnt play terrible and he didnt play great, tbh he didnt have impact in the game, all i keep hearing is Daniel Jones gives the Giants the best chance and them being competitive, i am yet to see that esp vs playoff calibur teams

@Jkap Pakj Lol I could’ve said more if you wanted. He looked very good in the pocket, looked good when scrambling, and made good decisions. Also held onto the ball every time he got sacked/hit bc the o-line sucked. Shows promise for next week.

The only thing Daniel Jones is the future of losing games ,career backup QB,dont look now but as bad as Sam Darnold was he just carried his offense to 2 wins over winning teams browns and rams, Jones hasnt beaten team above 500 in 2 years

@Sriakkineni Harsha I did watch the game. I saw the offense do nothing and Ravens lead by 2 TDs. Then DJ got some yards in the 2nd half, mostly 4th Q. At no time did Giants have a chance of winning. If next year Jones is not moving the ball and scoring TDs, I think it’s time to realize he could be a major bust. Stop blaming the o-line.

@D P next year agreed, at this time no. Yesterday first series we had a holding a false start which cost us 15 yards . next series we go out and alex mack drops a pass with no one on him and a first down changes to 4th and 4 on our 38 or so. by the next time offense had the ball they are 17 deep with less than 6 left in q2. not only did Ravens offense click but they also took a lot of time on the clock. I am not really sure what DJ was supposed to do then.

@Sriakkineni Harsha I see him hold onto the ball fairly long at times. We all know that if Aaron Rodgers was plopped in there, the Giants would be 10-6 at least. So don’t say QB play isn’t an issue and Jones’s play can’t improve to improve the team overall.

@Kaan Bayram uh believe it or not, QBs also play a role in terms of sacks allowed, not just the o-line. Good QBs release faster, slide around in the pocket to create time and angles for the line to extend protection, all the while keeping eyes downfield in order to find open guys. If you don’t know this you don’t know football. Jones’ pocket awareness is average to below average. Evidence of this is the 13 or so lost fumbles last year: he wasn’t feeling the pressure and his internal clock was off. Although he’s improved.
