Fitzmagic is my favorite lower tier QB, just fun to watch that dude. Great job by the coach to pull tua. Usually it’s just too late when coaches consider to pull the starter, he did it in the perfect moment

@Fortune Maker No, the person who grabbed the face mask is to blame. Had he not gotten the mask, the Phins might have had one more play. I say might, because they had a completion and they would need to get everyone back to the line of scrimmage to run another play.
@da324 False. You dont leave things chance. Gruden’s fate was in his hands. If he takes the TD then it forces Miami to have to get in the end zone in 1 minute.
He is supposedly an “offensive genius”. If he get the 2 points then it even further solidifies his chances to win.

@Enhanced IF he doesn’t get the two points and leaves Miami 1:45 on the clock, he has a good chance of losing as that’s an eternity in the NFL. Had he lost that way, everyone would be saying why didn’t he use the clock and leave Miami with 20ish secs and no time outs. It’s easy to say afterwards, but with the call he made, he wins with no facemask. I’ll take those odds every time and win 97% of the time.

Fitzpatrick has really turned his career around. He’s been playing some great ball lately. Would be cool to see him make a hell of a tear down the stretch.
@TheBooger_Boy well if that’s what you want risks then enjoy having a first round exit I don’t watch a lot of dolphins games with Fitzpatrick playing but last night he did not do well he missed a ton of throws and even a touchdown that he missed because if a terrible throw but he had that one great throw

@Rodga Laurius Tua got sacked so many times and could barely move the ball against the Broncos. Fitz actually got the ball moving. Sure he threw an int at the end but he at least moved the frickin ball. I question if you actually have eyes.
@Jack Wyatt Um what throws did he miss? Sure he missed some in the red zone. But guess who got them to the red zone? Fitzpatrick. How? By making some great throws. Tua would have just got the Raiders another 3 and out like bruh. Do you actually have eyes? And with Tua we are more likely to get a first round exit because he can’t even put up points.

Incredible how the Flores is managing to take a team everyone thought would go 7-9 in the final rebuild year, and somehow balancing them winning now and making the playoffs (Fitzpatrick) with getting Tua acclimated to the NFL stage and preparing for the future. Hats off to him, true contender for COTY and he deserves every bit of it.

One of the 12 Sion mains# the dolphins have always been underrated man it’s to be expected. Being a fin fan for 11 years and they have never got credit for anything.
Tua will be fine, hes a cerebral QB and still learning, developing every game. Hes a quick learner and smarter than most QBs. Fitzpatrick never really deserved to be benched in the first place and hes a great mentor for Tua. Fitz has the ability to create magic, hense his nickname, Tua is just not there yet. Flores is sticking with the rookie but I would start Fitz, he gives Miami the best chance to win. However with that being said, Tua will be a lot better next year after a full training camp, better oline, and some playmaker receivers which he doesnt have right now. Herbert and Burrow both have way more talent surrounding them on the offense and Tua is not even playing terrible, hes just not playing good enough right now, he knows he needs to start taking more risks and pushing the ball downfield, Chan Gailey is also doing him no favors, hes not a good playcaller for Tua and has been way too conservative with him. Plus Fitz is a top 12 QB imo but I still think Tua is the future and will have a good career, no shame in being benched for Fitzmagic

@MrDufDaddy I understand not going into the end zone the first time. They would’ve had 1 minute and 40 seconds to get a TD which is probable. The problem I have is the kneel on third down. They score a td there then Fitzpatrick has under 1 minute to take them down the field and they have to get a td. I would’ve taken my chances with that.
@MrDufDaddy Kneeling allows you to continue running clock without risking a fumble from a run. That said, I like going for the TD in this specific game and situation since they missed the PAT on the previous TD
@FRxDispatch Gaming – Absolutely, they should have gone for TD on 3rd own especially since Carlson had missed Extra point & there was some probability of him missing the field goal .. also a run play could have eaten some time off the clock… just didn’t understand the whole sequence from 3rd down onwards!

Ryan Fitzmagic: as bad as the worst QB in football, but also on any given night equal to the very best QB in the NFL. You throw him onto the field, it’s the ultimate Trick or Treat. You could get hot trash, or you get Mahomes on his best day. Really an amazing player.

I know this is a sad comment, but my neighbor of 10+ years just passed away yesterday. He was a huge Dolphins fan. So seeing Fitzmagic win the game with that throw was truly special. He would have been so happy to see that! RIP neighbor.
