Just when I thought the bears were out, the 49ers pull off a post Christmas miracle.
@Zachariah ` While that is 100% true as far as having multiple chances, not matter what happens there is always a chance, it doesn’t take away the reality of it being one of the worst inconsistently called SB’s in the last few decades. All it takes is an inch to swing a game a particular way in a game of inches. Nothing casual about calling a spade a spade. That games officiating was horrible, period. Don’t ask a 49er fan what they think and don’t ask a Chiefs fan or their respective rivals, ask anyone else.
@HeplMeh To be fair, all NFL games have inconsistent refereeing/blown calls, for both teams, so you could say every game is “Officiated horribly, period”. At the end of the day, all NFL fans can agree that the Chiefs made plays when they needed, scored more points than the 49ers, and thusly won the Superbowl.

The D is is below average in points per game because the 49ers Offense is 2nd in the league in turnovers, causing short yard fields for the defense. Not to mention the multiple pick sixes the 49ers QB’s have had, hence the reason the NFL uses “total yardage” to gauge the best D, not points. Poor, poor you. Sorry I had to educate you.

@XxExternal BeastxX Thank you. After the sweep of the Rams, I was saying we were capable of winning out the rest of the schedule, especially since some of our early losses were to teams that turned out to be good this year (Miami Dolphins for example).

Gutsy performance. It was the one year anniversary of Beathard’s little brother being murdered and he goes out and plays a solid game. He may not yet be a starter but he’s a solid backup to say the least.
