You hate to mess with the chemistry, and Woods might deserve a chance to see what he can do with fewer key missing pieces, but I wish we had a DC who was as good at breaking down film, devising game plans and calling plays as Stefanski and the rest of the offensive staff have been. Woods just doesn’t seem to be as creative in posing problems for opposing offenses the way Stefanski’s offense poses unsovlable problems for defenses. Sure, it’s partly personnel and execution, but this defense has struggled to get off the field on downs all year.
Here’s the silver lining. The defense has been so shaky that this team can’t overlook anyone. They have something to prove every week. You’ve got coaches and players who might worry that their future here and in the NFL depends on getting better over these last weeks and, hopefully, in the playoffs.

Regardless of what happens this year, we finally found our coach. In my opinion he’s easily the coach of the year, but I’m most excited for our future and continuity in the coaching staff. The progress in the front office has translated to the progress the players have on the field. Even in the first year, the front office and players are in sync. As a lifelong fan, this has been an amazing year to watch. Keep up the great work and finish strong! HERE WE GO BROWNIES, HERE WE GO! WOOF WOOF!

I never heard a head coach sound so humble.. He quickly deflects credit off of him and gives to his staff… He has no problem admitting his mistakes unlike past coaches we had here… This guy is incredible and most definitely coach of the year!

Coach Stefanski is all about team and he takes the responsibilities when things dont work out and he points out AvP’s part in Bakers evolution. I think even if they make him coach of the year, he will say, that its a price for the whole coaching staff. Some guys compare him to Belichick, but Stefanski dont seem to be a controll freak, like Belichick is.
