We have to trust Sam now. I know that it seems impossible but in my opinion Fields will be trash. We need to stack the offense. Whether that’s Jamar chase, penei Sewell or that Alabama wr. We need to build around him. In my opinion we have no other choice 😔

Build a foundation of guys to make any QB succeed. That’s what this team needs to do.
Drafting a QB at 2 does absolutely nothing but give us a rookie contract. We have a QB. We need a TEAM

I want to hear any real jets fans that are happy. By far the most pissed off I’ve been at the outcome of a game this year. They played mediocre enough to lose – one penalty away from the loss.
They should’ve won vs the Broncos, Raiders, And Patriots.
They have young talent but need to build on that. They have a QB who can get it done with real coaching. Build a TEAM. Drafting a QB won’t fix anything. In 3 years the fans would’ve been asking for Lawrence’s head or Fields’ head.
Build a foundation.
0-16 would’ve damaged the young players that will be here for years to come. I know it’s only 1 win but you can’t have the rookies who have played well wait until NEXT SEPTEMBER to know what a win feels like. That’s demoralizing and it’s a confidence killer.
They now know what winning feels like and will work towards winning more.
You want this team to stop being losers? Then don’t root for them to lose all the games in a season

Sam’s a great kid but today’s win was a massive setback in the big picture. 40 yr fan psl owner. I’m sick. Glad for the players but for us fans this whole season has been nauseating and today made it all worse.

I love Sam Darnold, I always have. I would love to keep him if we don’t get T Law, however I’m concerned that Darnold’s spirit with this team is broken. It’s going to be very hard to get the right coach in here when you’re QB had 3 yrs and blew it (Adam Gase is to blame for most of it). Can Sam turn it around with the right coach? Maybe. If Sam blows these last 2 games badly, then I would suggest we draft Zach Wilson. Watch his highlights… kid plays like Pat Mahomes. But if Sam plays great, and manages to win another or both?! (long shot) then keep him and for gods sake, BUILD AROUND HIM @ JoeDouglas !!
