@Casey Troutman you are picking one game to judge their whole season. They are 11th in run defense as of now. That’s above average. When you have a great offense going against the worst 3rd down and redzone defense you definitely have the advantage. Especially if you get a lead. Again, the Titans have been my favorite team since I was 9 and I Believe they can do it but they will have to play great

he was always good…the teams down there were just really bad when he played there…like the Darnold situation…there’s nothing wrong with that kid his team just sucks.

@Daniel Chera tbh Mariota did just as good with WAAAAY less on his team with NO ONE to pass to because when corey first came he only played week 16 and the playoffs that Mariota got them to on 3 4th qtr comebacks that season and a Monday night against the cowgirls at jerry world and Mariota got a new OC each year and three Head coaches he had solid years last year was his year to do something but honestly i still think the OC sucks and didn’t do a good job early and then they finally started using the playaction once Tanne came in and they gave Mariota a task that they are currently not giving tannehill which was throw us to victory run second now its establish the run playction off of it Mariota was good he wasn’t catered to like he needed to be every thing around him went against him in the end including tanne playing better and Henry shitting on defenses after that 99 yarder against the jags which was with Mariota btw but we weren’t utilizing play action then
@Marquis Felder I mean 6 games with the exact same weapons as Tannehill is still plenty to show how he compares imo. In his first 6 games tannehill went 5-1 after just being traded the past offseason. Maybe the offense wasnt utilized to comlete efficiency with mariota but I dont think anyone can deny that Tannehill was the next level that Tennessee needed to become playoff contenders. I mean the whole offense changed completely but unfortunately he is not given nearly as much credit bc he isnt the head of the show
@Daniel Chera i feel you but i feel the chage the offense made could have been made with mariota they threw SO MUCH LESS after that THAT when th eleagues truly took notice of king henry and why the play action is so dominate now if you look at highlights for tanne most are playaction or short 2 yard throws that Davis or AJ gash for 40 and the OC finally learned how to call plays better after he realize he can use play action those 6 games were called completely different also Mariota saw the writhing on the wall he was throwing nervous those games because he knew if he threw picks he was going to sit it was hard to watch as a fan who saw it coming vrabel didnt draft him had preconceived notions saw he wasnt a RA RA RA guy he wanted that change but gave him a chance because mariota on raiders didnt come out of no where to me THATS WHAT HE BBEN DOING but usually in a duel he won check his 4th qtr comebacks and his drives mariota better than the titans made him look the last 2 years

The problem is that quarterback is the most important position, so the best QB is almost always going to be the obvious choice. The NFL should just get rid of mvp awards altogether, keep the DPOY and OPOY (QBOY) awards, and create another OPOY for non-passers.
