I agree that I can’t believe Haskins is starting but that is only due to 2 injuries, he is on paper a better option than anyone else active on the roster, not having Gibson in the backfield is a big issue as it will be all on Haskins looking and reading and if he stares down his target Adams is going to feast. They need to get McLaurin and C. Sims heavily involved and then use McKissic better from the backfield on passing downs, pass first has to be the option for this game we don’t want to be running the ball on 2nd and 10 so it might be ⅔ to ¾ passing plays. It’s all on Haskins. The secondary has to solve the Tight End and big receiver play issues.
@Paul B Haskins looks better on paper but he is not better than Steven Montez or Logan Thomas I have no confidence this week I’d have at least a little confidence with Thomas or Montez because Haskins looks so bad it looks like he is trying to make us lose

I would say Alex is just being very careful, we don’t have to win this game to make the playoffs. Sure it would help but let’s not put Alex in danger, we have a great shot at making the playoffs and if that happens everyone goes to 0-0. We need Haskins or Allen to show they deserve to be on this team. I think Haskins will be fine if given enough time to get things together, he needs to sit behind someone like Alex for another season or two. He only played one year at Ohio State and was drafted way to high, give him a chance.
