Social Justice Documentary Filmmakers Discuss Latest Project

For the second year in a row, the Seahawks have partnered with two local filmmakers, Gavin Sullivan and Bryan Tucker, to produce a short documentary to tell the story of a new criminal justice reform program in King County called Restorative Community Pathways that is working to divert youth from the criminal legal system directly into community programs. The full documentary will be released on Friday, Dec 18 at noon.

Take a look inside the making of last year's project, Out of the Fire, and a sneak peak of this year's feature.

KEEP POLITICS OUT OF SPORTS!!!!!!

    Ross Luton

@James Madison who exactly is leaving pro sports? Mike and Karen from down the street? Oh no!!!

    Ross Luton

@jacob svetich I don’t love getting the military shoved down my throat every time I turn on sports and you don’t see me bitching about it. Until y’all start bitching about sports supporting black lives. Funny how you don’t care when black people are playing the sports to entertain you, but the second it’s “lets care about these people” you get angry. Hmmmm

@Shortest SB Champion QB military isn’t
    Politics? Interesting take

    Shortest SB Champion QB

@Ross Luton First off, it isn’t. Second the military pays the NFL to do those celebrations. Know your facts before speaking next time kid

    Ross Luton

@Shortest SB Champion QB the government paying the nfl to display constant messaging that “military good” and you think that isn’t political yet “black people shouldn’t be murdered by cops” is.

Fatherless homes. Inner city feel-good initiatives that don’t really work despite sounding benevolent. There is no systemic racism, only racists. There is no ‘social’ justice: only justice itself.
