Not an overreact at all. What I really worry about is if patrick believes the coach speak he puts out each week, or if it’s exactly that. Everything he says is right and true to a certain point. My concern is that through the coach speak he becomes a bit too much like brady. He starts believing what he’s shoveling to the media, instead of being the cutting edge dude he really is. Andy is an offensive football genius, no question. Before mahomes though, his conservative nature was nearly the death of him. I hope patrick can bring that balance between technical genius,skill, and on the field prowess. It’s all about the marriage right? Is she the best girl, or is she the best girl for you? Patrick and Andy must both evolve on that most difficult precipice. Aggressively conservative. Reid’s greatest strength, is also his greatest weakness. What I’m doing is working. So if I modify it, it’ll work even better. NFL history proves exactly opposite. Do it till your opponent stops you from doing it. Case in point. Today, Bell had 2 carries for 21yds early. Reid is so brilliant, he thinks that means hey, if that works then this can work and then these things will work, yada yada. NFL history says do it till your opponent stops you or makes an adjustment. Reid doesn’t wait for that. He’s passively aggressive that way and gets fancy and literally out thinks himself. Mahomes is exactly opposite. Tyreek is beating his man, I just need to find a way to get it to him. There’s a happy medium somewhere in between and I believe that’s why Reid should be the head coach, defer all playcalling to EB who has a great pulse on the NOW cuz he trusts his players. Reid should be a true head coach and sit on the bench with his DEFENSE for a change and say “Hey guys, if I was trying to beat you, this is what I would do” . That to me is the mark of a true head coach. Let’s remember that Reid had to be CONVINCED that a bob sutton lead defense was not the answer. He didn’t come to that decision on his own. It had to be made for him. That’s not Head Coach thinking there. He had to be told to do it cuz he’d rather sit on the bench and coach his offense than tell his defense how to stop the 3 3rd and long’s his team just surrendered to the patriots in the afc championship game and complain about how they never got a chance with the ball. If reid would actually ever coach his entire team, pass on his knowledge reciprocity wise, he’d have more than 1 superbowl. If I go to work each day and only thought about how much money I make, with no thoughts whatsoever about the gas money, the rent I pay, the utilities, I’d be a moron. Reid attacks the income, and fails to account for the taxes and the upkeep costs. That failure will cost him, and this team, any future championships. We’re always our worst enemy.

Great season boys, too bad about the inability to get out of your coaches own way. Maybe next year.

Even tho key players were out no excuses. Tua and the defense put us in many positions to win and make great plays but the chiefs are just an amazing team all around. Mahomes threw 3 picks and played like as if those picks never happened. This loss hurts but no shame in losing to the defending champs. Love ya KC keep up the phenomenal work.
