The first thing that happened was Jones got blasted in his blindside with hardly two seconds to look downfield. Unfortunately, it set the tone for the rest of the game.

@troy evans Jones didn’t lose this game he went in 70% got rocked by three unblocked guys leading to fumbles this was the o line even if DJ didn’t fumble we still would have lost WR don’t get separation since slayton is dealing with knee and foot injury it was judge fault one of his few mistakes this year was starting Jones and it was the WR and o line fault on offense. I have hated and loved Jones this season and I say when it is his fault today wasn’t that day

@Jay T Sports did Eli get blind sided? No! Jones got rocked and even got re injured. And if u really watched Eli play he had a bad fumbling and turnover problem. He just won games. Jones needs to have an off season that isn’t on zoom cause he had shurmer as his coach. Garrett is known for building QB if Jones get a off season in person with Jones he will be fine

@OD Y1NG dude this had become a broken record. This was the same O-line from last week . The same exact team from last week. Only change made was at quarterback. I seen McCoy get sack took some hits ball never came out . Seen players wide open Jones missed. He’s a deer headlights in the pocket. He’s not a franchise starting qb. They put him back in because they don’t want a controversy in the quarterback position. Could u imagine if McCoy was starting and won this game? Forget about it.

This is another example of how weak the Giants beat writers are. And why Jordan got pissy a couple weeks ago about how Twitter/YouTube content creators are taking away from fans that are consuming his work. Anyone can ask stupid questions like that. These beat writers hardly do any actual journalism anymore.

@Joey Buffalano There’s no gameplan where a coach or coordinator expects to rack up eight sacks. The offensive tackles were bad and Daniel Jones was even worse, past the point that “well he’s injured” is a reasonable excuse. There were some awful calls made before and during the game but to say that they were outcoached is giving a free pass to some awful individual performances on offense and special teams.

@IllCaesar “the offensive line was bad but jones was even worse” duh what you expect? that line was the main reason we lost, and our receivers can’t beat press coverage, there’s no reason why garret calling 3-5 yard route combinations against man. This ain’t madden where you can flick the right stick up and get massive separation. Garret needs to call better concepts

@boricuacutta real backup QBs are hard to find. Once they get too good they’re gonna wanna become QB1s and get paid which is totally their right. Not everyone is content with being Charlie Batch.

@NYG_DiBiasE no way, the cat we got on Defense for him is one of the anchors to this steadily improving, young talented defense, we basically shut Arizona out almost the entire first half, they scored on our looser QBs fumble, the punt return, and the fumble that was karate kicked out of dion Lewis’s hands, which is an utter joke by the way, the ref was staring right at it. The td was also a miracle 3rd down desperation fling, and while arz made exceptional halftime offensive adjustments, and our D was left out on the field forever and a day by pathetic Jones and co. they still managed only 13 more points. Point is, it would be awesome to have another solid receiver, but this team has weapons, down 3-0 in the 2nd quarter Jones made a horrific read and missed a wide open Dion Lewis, on a play that would have flipped the field and the momentum early in the game. He is literally thinking of his screw up on a previous play while dropping back for the current play. This type of miserable qb play should never be tolerated, and Jones belongs on the practice squad, but the organization is currently in the mode of save face and pray that they can find anything decent about Jones. We beat Seattle on the road with colt McCoy for a reason, all we need is decent no mistake qb play and we are capable of winning any game anytime. Jones has cost us game after game after game this year, he has got 2 go, 1000% got to go. If we had anyone else back there we would be above 500 and coasting to a division title.

@Wilson Mckoy I thought that after beating the Seahawks that they would definitely sit him down for that extra week. I knew the fans would want him but getting 1 W against the Seahawks, Cards, or, Baltimore should be enough to win the division. Washington beating the Steelers is what pushed that decision 100%.

First of all, Daniel Jones is no Colt McCoy, and that’s a fact nyg fans probably cant even understand at this point, colt McCoy has been in the league a long time, Danirl Jones will not last 5 years, guarantee. Also remember last week up 17-12, with 6 mins left, McCoy made a couple of huge throws, that changed field position and killed a huge chunk of the clock, saved the game, in many ways, Jones has never nor will he ever make those plays. So hindsight 20-20 yes McCoy would have been alot better choice yesterday. But this isn’t about DJ mobility or McCoy’s ability, Jones is an awfull qb, and he has cost nyg many games already this year, McCoy is not the answer in the slightest, but what he proves is that, just decent qb play gives nyg a chance to win with this team, and if we had a true above average NFL qb, than this team could be really good, just like that, it’s more evident than ever at this moment DJ xant hang in the NFL, he will drag this team down to a low low point the longer he continues to be considered a starter, his career has already peaked, you are getting nothing more, the giants need a qb.
