For a team missing 5 starters on defense I think they do fairly well. Now offensively…Chase Claypool has been all but forgotten. Why?

I agree. But then again, when don’t they start slow? Seems to be reoccurring for this bunch and it’s not limited to just this season. It’s been going on for the past few years that they seem to get off to a slow start. And once they do get going and up by two or more scores, it’s instant conservative play calling that always seems to open the door for the other team to come back or nearly come back.

@Darrell Barricklow well starts with Ben. Maybe ben is use to back in the day when he was playing with older stronger players like Ward, AB, the bus and etc. So basically we have no break (which I think we dont need) and play straight and we must must win all. Especially when or if we play against Bell and the chiefs

Corey Beavers said it spot on, NAILED it…. PREDICTABLE. You can run the SAME defense to stop 3yd pass plays as you can stopping the run. We are a one trick pony right now, and everybody has seen our ONE TRICK lolol

The Colts was going 2b a tough game anyway and will still be. But now this diehard Steeler fan is sweating the Bengals too lolol. Coach staff better get their act together real quick or we’ll end up 11-5. Cuz in my opinion, this has everything 2do with a sketchy game plan and ZERO adjustments being made during and between games. Ben still has one of the strongest arms in the league and we keep calling 3yd pass plays. Since when does Pittsburgh use 2.5 yd passes in lieu of a run attack?? Who are these guys and where did they hide the real Steelers??

Yea Tomlin actually thought the undermanned defense could duplicate what they did in the first half . The defense played better than I thought with all the injuries but the offense is horrible. The offensive line is not good. Ben is too old to carry the entire offense.

@Ryan Irwin- Diehl How are they a better team? Both that team and this team have lots of talent. This team’s story is not finished yet. It cracks me up how quickly people want to throw this team away. They got beat by a really good Bills team on the road. Washington has a really good D and they outplayed us in the second half. No team goes an entire season without playing poorly in at least a couple games.

Obviously the Steelers Offense is not playing well right now. They could get better or they may not improve at all. We will see. Unlike many fans I’m not panicking. There are 3 games left in the regular season and I’m looking forward to them winning the AFC North. I’m not concerned about the playoffs right now. I’m thankful Big Ben came back and we’re 11-2 . Before the season started no one thought we would sweep Baltimore and win this division.

Knee injuries…he is playing injured now.

I think Ben’s injuries are worse than what he and the team are letting on (just a guess). He’s pretty immobile back there, that’s for sure.

I agree with all the comment and all the replies as well, but you can get your knee crushed just as easily standing in a collapsing pocket as you can on a 4yd scramble. I think he’s been INSTRUCTED to NOT run…. at all. But at the end of the day, he’s the one out there making ALL the decisions post-snap. You’re in the twilight of your career brother Ben, time to let it ALL HANG OUT. The Steelers will have other SB chances, but this might be YOUR last. I hope not, but… just sayin
