It’s called not being smart enough from the neck up.
Newton has always been a wildly scattershot and inaccurate QB. When he played with a lot of decent weapons and his athleticism allowed him to move the chains, it didn’t matter so much. And the media love fest for Newton meant his flaws were overlooked. Now he looks slow and labored and his inaccuracy has got worse. He is the anti-Brady. Kelvin Benjamin was right.
Given his obnoxious cockiness, being benched must have stung and demeaned… the poor ol’ soul. Love it!!
