I think that’s the biggest change from last year we take the “easy” yards from rubs, screens and checkdowns but we also take a few more shots downfield and that opens everything up especially with how this O-line has been operating

Pandemic Surf

Shots fired, 85 Bears wouldn’t be able to compete these days with most NFL teams anyways. Almost 4 decades of sports training, conditioning, and development improvements since that team existed.

@lony walnut Yea maybe. I’d be willing to bet majority of players nowadays have 20lbs more muscle on their bodies. I mean no disrespect to Walter but he was only 200lbs. That’s entry level size for RB’s these days.

    Frederick Schulze

@Pandemic Surf It makes me kind of suspicious of nfl players… are they finding away to pass these PED tests? Or maybe it’s just the wonderbread…

    Trueguru the king

@lony walnut if you believe in evolution then you’d have to agree with him. They were still smoking cigarettes at halftime in 85!😂 it’s lineman running with running backs! Did you see Bakhtiari?!

    Pandemic Surf

@Frederick Schulze Probably a better understanding of nutrition, training and muscle building routines, better technology and quality of training equipment, plus access to better supplements and legal performance enhancing drugs.

    Pandemic Surf

@Trueguru the king @lony walnut Just checked – ’85 Bears didn’t have a single WR over 200 lbs, biggest TE was 237 LBs which is entry level, Perry was the only lineman over 300 lbs (Packers currently have 20+ lineman over 300lbs!)

Dan Marino and the Dolphins showed how to beat the 85 Bears and it wasn’t with lot’s of motion. It was with quick hitters. Snap, 1, 2, throw. Rodgers doesn’t have the discipline and patience to do that for more than a drive or two. He holds the ball way too long, way too often. Dent, Singletary, Hampton, Wilson, Marshall, and the rest of the defense would have him on his back or running for his life most of the game if he held the ball like he normally does.

Final score, 85 Bears 46, 2020 Pack 10, and that’s being generous to the Pack.

with today rules ? stop smoking dumb bears fan LOL

@pablo rios Haven’t been a Bears fan since the Walter Payton era.

And just look how poorly Rodgers has played when he goes up against a strong pass rush the past few years. They absolutely destroy him.

Freddy Tapia

Wow.. I’m impressed. Beautiful play

Lets do a super bowl shuffle

Athletic Montages

Imagine the 85 Bears vs the 2007 Patriots, who would win.

    JakeDoesStuff

    The 2007 giants

    Barb Richardson

85 Bears vs the 2011 or 2014 Packers offense.

Yan Hu

So it is like a RPO, except they replaced the run option with a screen.

Graciela Bahena

Best rivalry in NFL history 💯

Benjamin Jacobson

Yes now just imagine if the defense wasn’t so horrible then we might have actually had a chance to make a super bowl appearance this year just wait until we play Tennessee the green bay offense will have to put up 50 points because are defense will get run over
